I dont know if you realise but furina has 2 abilitys if you hold her attack she can heal and if you hold it again she can attack with those pet things. Btw if you use your E again after cooldown you can stay on water for longer

A tip for something new in genshin, you dont actually have to do your daily commissions anymore!
They added a system where you can do things like exploring, quests, or events and itll count as completeing your daily commissions. Super nice to focus on catching up!
How does this work?
Just collect occuli, open any chests, do any world quests or just normal quests, do any event quests and it’ll contribute to your daily commission reward in the adventures handbook! a lot easier then doing commissions everyday

Such a graceful video. I hope you will have a lot of fun discovering new things. Also comissions have new system where if you do claim event rewards or do event story, or do big story things, or open chests ..that sorta things..if you do them they also contribute to count toward comissions. That's why nowadays I rarely actually do old school comissions since so many things count as them. But yeaaa I love Furina!! I'm so happy you got her!!!

A tip for Furina: Her burst gives you “FanFare Points” which boost your character’s damage like Mona on steroids. In order to gain the max amount of fanfare points, pair her with a quick healer (Jean, Charlotte, Qiqi, Baizu, etc). Fanfare points are given the more hp you recover. (P.S. Furina can heal, but nobody uses her like that cuz you won’t get the buff). At the start of each rotation, use her E-Skill, then burst, then switch to healer and use their E-Skill (to recover particles) and burst, then other support or main dps. You know you’ve reached max fanfare when there are a lot of creatures popping up at the bottom of the screen.

For Eula's new meta teams, her role is a Cryo driver for hyperbloom which is called Hyperfridge. Basically, you add Hydro, Dendro, and Electro teammates into your roster.
So in your case, Furina/XQ can be your Hydro, Dendro Traveler/Collei for Dendro (or Nahida who's gonna rerun in 4.4 or 4.5), then Kuki Shinobu for your healer.
If you pull/get Yaoyao as your healer slot, you can replace Kuki with full EM Raiden as your hyperbloom trigger 🙂

i left genshin for about a year and a half and now i’m back and so much changed it’s actually insane
Furina and Charlotte goes together very well because Furina’s ousia form where she has the 3 little followers will take away HP from your team everytime the the 3 little things attack. Her burst (doesn’t matter witch form) give your whole party DMG boost and you can increase it while her burst active (when the edges of the screen are blue) by decreasing and increasing the HP of your party members and since Charlotte’s burst heals the whole team by a good amount she goes well with her

Hey hopefully you can enjoy your return to the game.
A couple of things, I’m not sure how aware you are about dendro and it’s reactions. Dendro is a „new“ element added in Sumaru (now we are in Fontaine between this and Inazuma was Sumaru) this element added a decent amount of new reaction to the mix might be worth checking out if something catches your interest.
Also weekly bosses can now be done trough the adventure book directly, if you want to farm Furina boss materials without having to play Sumaru and Fontaine before doing so. They are no longer storylocked.
In terms of teams I’m not quite sure what you are looking for so, if it’s about an overworled/story squad play whatever character you like have a healer on the team and you should be fine, for exploration Yelan and Furina are nice to have around because of their skills.
If you were rather looking for teams you could consider for the abyss from an glance I would recommend:
Eula, Raiden, Fischl/Shenhe, Bennett | HuTao, Yelan, Xingqiu, Zhongli | Ganyu, Shenhe, Furina, Jean
Could also run HuTao with Furina with replacing one of the hydro units with her and Zhongli with Jean
For your Ganyu you should probably consider switching the set bonus IIRC you have no instance dealing physical damage so the bonus is kinda wasted on her and maybe you could use these pieces on your Eula. Use either 4pc Blizzard or Wanderers Troupe. If you play her with Furina you could also run the MHunter(the other set in the golden troupe domain which is Furina set)set, this set can be played with Furina on the team since she drains your hp, which makes the set decent on every carry in a Furina team.

Honestly, what a great video, the vibes, editing and communicating is on point, as a person which eventually became exhausted about the game itself watching someone enjoying it genuanilly made me appreciate the small things almost eveyone ignores. Keep it up :D

I have no idea if you’ve watched any guides for Furina yet so sorry if you have XD but basically her skill scales on her max hp and her salon summons (dmg dealing) take away your hp to do increased damage- at least until you hit 50% hp on all your characters (to my knowledge it doesnt matter how much hp your losing just that you constantly keep it above 50% so that the summons can keep draining it for that juicy juicy damage).
This alone makes you want to run her with an excellent healer: one who heals a lot yes, but most importantly, heals the whole team (or you build a comp where you could cycle through all of your characters to heal them or something like that). You *could* ignore this if you wanted. Until you look at her burst.
Starting from when Furina casts her burst, any change in hp- taking dmg or healing- gives you “fanfare points”. These points translates directly into dmg% and incoming healing bonus%, which, when you get the max of 300, (at c0) you gain an entire *75%* dmg bonus!
Sooo while this tends to makes her best partners ones that can self-damage (a trend among Fontaine dps’s) all she actually really wants is a healer. Good news is, with some maneuvering, it can be Bennet! He needs to be on full healer tho
And one last thing, for weapon easily her best f2p Is The Name Is In French So I Don’t Know It But It Starts With Fleurve and you can fish for it, her best artifact set is golden troupe (and its other set, marechousse (im not spelling that right💀) becomes viable on literally ANY dps with Furina?? 😭) with skill dmg and some more skill dmg and also some more skill dmg but only when shes off field, and mainstats are hp% hp%(you get hydro dmg% with burst) crit% with her summons being able to do a LOT of dmg it shouldn’t be smth u ignore and yada yada i gotta stop now or else i will keep on talking forever so this is what i leave you with goodbye :3
this was a great read, tysm ! i have looked into a few guides, and i might go for that weapon you have to fish for. problem is, only recently finished getting r5 on 'the catch' and idk if i want to spend even more time fishing LOL. right now, i have the wolf fang on her as i heard it was pretty decent !
i got a decent golden troupe set so far on her with optimal sub-stats, im just afraid to roll them incase i get terrible luck. the tips i've gotten so far have made me very happy :)

After a long long month of having her I only recently got a crit dmg circlet (😭) Now shes doing numbers fit for a queen 💪

As a "Long term genshin player" who also got burnt out around Inazuma time iirc? Coming back to Sumeru was like a slap in the face, albeit a pretty good one. I'm excited to see you make more content about this and get back into it! It's always hard to get builds right with newly released artifacts but usually guides online can do no wrong. I'd advise building Bennette not only for heals tho. He's a good buffer for really most teams. (Also no comment on 4 star artifact, I have one on my Ayaka and she's my main.) There's my long comment. I summoned Nahida during his first banner. I completed up to Inazuma, did a little bit of the chasm, and never touched Sumeru. I quit before her banner was finished. I just played again today for the first time since then.
This time, I will NOT be trying to min/max. I'm not going to collect every single thing. I'm not going to worry much about artifacts. I'm just doing this for the combat, events, and the story. I'm probably not even going to gacha.
Great video and also I enjoy people coming back to Genshin😅, also as a Eula main you do great damage. My Eula isn’t built😅

honestly exploration has gotten a lot more fun, and the game in general i love so much more, all the new characters made me save up more, since i had left between late sumeru and early fontaine, but coming back it felt so much more fun and welcoming! i hope you like it as much as i did coming back to the came ^^

For now, I'd just like to list a few tips/recommendations on who to level up, which teams to use, artifact sets, etc!
( also, feel free to correct me on anything! I'm not a huge meta player, and most of the information I know is from what I've seen/my experience. ^_^ )
teams: when dendro came around and was released, hyperbloom quickly became the new meta. There's many teams revolving around it, including hyperfridge, which is infact eula's best team!
most hyperbloom/hyperfridge teams I've seen consist of: nahida/baizhu/yaoyao/alhaitham, kuki/raiden ( honestly, almost every electro character can work ), kokomi/yelan/xingqiu/furina ( almost any hydro character can work here. As long as they can apply a consistent amount of hydro, they're good to go! )
for hyperbloom, it's a flex slot, and for hyperfridge the last character will obviously be a cryo character. In your case, it could problably be either ganyu or eula, however eula works a lot better in this case, since you have her on a much better build than ganyu.
For your second team ( assuming you're going to play abyss ) you honestly have a lot of options.
Considering you have hutao and ganyu, you could either go for a vape hutao ( hutao, xingqiu/yelan ( or both ), bennett ( only if you're not using double hydro ), zhongli )
or ganyu freeze/melt ( if freeze: shenhe, furina/ayato/yelan/xingqiu ( almost any hydro character can work ), kazuha/sucrose/venti and another hydro/cryo of your choice ) ( if melt: shenhe, bennett w either another pyro or a swirler ( venti, sucrose or kazuha. )
Also childe/raiden international is possible here, but considering how your xiangling, xingqiu and childe don't seem to be built/raised, it requires a lot more grinding to do.
characters to build/level up: obviously, raise your supports. Fischl, bennett, sucrose, xiangling, beidou, xingqiu, diona, kujou sara and kuki are all decent/great 4 star supports to raise. As for 5 star supports, shenhe, mona and jean are also great options.
Fischl, sucrose, beidou, xingqiu, kujou sara, mona and kuki being great units for hyperbloom/aggrevate, bennett, xiangling and xingqiu being the main units of a international team, diona and shenhe being great for freeze/melt comps ( diona melt if you have her c6 ) and sucrose/jean being great additions to any team overall.
I recommend focusing on who can use the same artifact sets at the same time. Since xiangling, yelan, xingqiu, raiden, mona and even beidou all require emblem, I'd recommend farming for the emblem domain for now.
You'll also get some shimenawa pieces, which can be useful on ganyu, hutao, ayato as a 4pc and ayato, childe + many others as a 2pc.
finally, artifact sets: xiangling, yelan, xingqiu and mona mostly want emblem. Depending on your team and what you're using them for, raiden and beidou could also use emblem, but for hyperbloom they'd both use 4pc gilded.
eula obviously wants 4pc pale flame - ganyu could use 4pc shimenawa, 4pc wanderer's troupe, 4pc blizzard or even 2pc atk 2pc blizzard/atk ( all depending on the team you're using her in. Shimenawa, wanderer's and 2pc/2pc are mainly for melt and 4pc blizzard is mostly for freeze ) - both childe and ayato could use 4pc shimenawa, 4pc heart of depth or 2pc hydro or atk/2pc atk. However, ayato can also use 4pc echoes, while childe can use 4pc nymph's dream.

Why is this random guy who popped up in my recommended actually me. i left for a year after getting hu tao and getting to inazuma, then came back a year later (a week before this comment is coming) and had no clue what was going on with my quests menu full of stuff
Furinas burst summons the overlay you saw and every time your team loses or gains hp you get a stack to buff everyone. Have fun in your journey through Sumeru and Fontaine! You will have to make the journey to Fontaine for Furina, Charlotte, and Freminet.

I think your gonna love it once you catch up to the story quests and possibly be glad you pulled Furina but who knows and it seems like your past self did a decent job building prob looking at guides to see what they need so u good! the game is pretty casual anyway so u don’t need to focus on having perfect builds

i didnt watch the video yet but i also returned recently in 4.3 and at the time the last time i played was 2.0. i got navia and she served as purpose/motivation to build a second team and also go to fontaine. im still exploring inazuma with about 80% on all islands and 100% in enkanomiya
Glad you got furina! shes so worth it I tell you! Also I recommend using any 2 piece atk artifact set on shenhe instead for more dmg for ganyu. (she scales off atk. So put atk and er on her)

the time you stopped playing was around the time I join again, I distinctly remember the first banner when I joined being ayato's, along with me watching his trailer
i did the exact same thing, last played the game when dehya was released and just started playing again a few weeks ago!!! its so euphoric and nostalgic and i love that im actually loving playing the game again! i do feel fomo for missing out on so many characters tho TvT
Furina's burst at C0 gives a 70% damage boost, for reference 1000em Kazuha gives a 40% damage boost
Furina also makes HP% and atk% goblets equivalent and sometimes even better than elemental goblets
She also makes the marechausse hunter set usbake on every character, whoch gives 36% CR
Furina CA also changes her Pneumousia form, short hair form deals skill damage, off-field amd draons the party HP till 50%, her burst buffs on all HP lost and healed.
Long hair form Furina has her skill heal, the best healing in the game btw
Basically Furina is the best support ingame, her best partners that helps reach her buff cap faster is Jean, Baizhu, Charlotte, Sayu, Barbara, Mika
And Noelle self heals the team when dealing damage, so you have a slot freed up (from not having to use Jean or something)
I wrote this while half asleep so please excuse any spelling or grammatical mistakes
Btw Furina's Ideal stats are:
40k HP (max passive bonus)
130/140 ER (pair her with Xingqiu)
CR should always be a 70 imo, and if you get her bis weapon, it's easy to get a ratio of 70/200
Her bis artifact set is Golden Troupe, and your meant to run her off-field for maximum damage output the whole time, she's basically an insane support with amazing sub DPS capabilities.
(Golden Troupe on an off-field skill DPS character, such as Furina, Fischl, Yae Miko, gives a 70% skill damage bonus, which is insane)
its actually up to 75%, not 70

The Fontaine Archon Quests are really good! Sumeru is also good as well I guess! I love using Furina on my team and she does quite a lot! Also she’s the Hydro Archon…that’s all I can say

From your characters I can say that zhongli and furina work well together (or so I heard), you can use hu Tao and yelan/xingqiu together and shenhe and ganyu are also good together, just like you said :)
as someone who has both. absolutely! esp with neuvilette team comps or any dps showcase. furina makes the comps so much more fun to play

There are 2 new regions sumeru (3.0) and fontaine (4.0) i dont know jow much you know so im just including as much as possible that might be useful.
Sumeru introduces dendro as a new element with new strong reactions
Bloom between hydro and dendro (a little core is created and explodes after some time dealing dendro damage)
Like 3 reactions between electro and dendro (one just the two and for the other two you have to add another dendro/electro
Dendro + electro 1
Dendro + electro + dendro 2
Dendro + electro + electro 3)
Burning between pyro and dendro (affected enemies or charakters will take continuous damage until their not affected by one of the elements)
Hyperbloom where you apply electro to boloom cores (cores turn into projectiles and chaes after enemies
Hydro + dendro +electro)
Burgeon where you apply pyro to the bloom cores (they explode dealing damage)
Sumeru charakters are (should be all of them)
Tighnari (dendro/bow/5 star/on standard banner)
Collei (dendro/bow/4 star)
Dori (electro/claymore/4 star)
Candace (hydro/polearm/4 star)
Cyno (electro/polearm/5 star)
Nilou (hydro/sword/5 star)
Nahida (dendro/catalyst/5 star/archon)

Sumeru has two parts the rainforest and the dessert. In the rainforest you might fond withering zones (plants look brown and dead)
Wich you can clear by using dendrograma (with charged attaks) on the small rootlike mechanisms with red dimond shapes on top (there should be three of those). There will be enemies. In the middle is a bigger root, once you've destroyed the small ones it will spawn more powerful enemies, defet those and you should get prompt near the main root to "destroy the core of withering" (or something similar). After you get a chest and often a dendroculus. In sumeru you can find the aranara questline wich is quite long but without it you can't do many of the puzzles in the rainforest area.
The dessert is atleast twice the size of the rainforest with many underground areas and puzzles. Its easier to explore these along world quests such as the golden slumber. (The map can now show different layers so you shouldn't get lost as easily (hopefully))

Sumeru introduce alot of lore about khaenria and the abyss. So if that interests you then there are some good recaps on youtube aswell (i recommend ashikai for lore recaps and theories)
Fontaine isnt completely out yet, its only 4.3. It introduces a diving mechanic thats only possible in fontaine. It doesn't have a breathing limit so you can stay underwater for hours but you have a smaller stamina bar. (Fontaine charakter can do a little dolfin jump if the swim fast to the surface) there is a new reaction systhem only active in fontaine that can help against enemies but is mostly uses for puzzles.
Pneuma and ousia
Pneuma is when it's yellow or light
Ousia is when its blue or dark
When some thing glows yellow you affect it with ousia and the other way around. There are little energy orbs around puzzles so you can solve them more easily.
Enemies affected with x can be weakend with y
Fontaine characters are

Furina (hydro/ousia+pneuma/sword/5 star/archon)
Navia (geo/ousia/claymore/5 star)
There should be an activated waypoint near the thin part of the map wich you can use to get to fontaine more easily. In fo taine there is a area that will become available in act 3 and 4 of the archon quest if you want to go there earlier you go upwards of the main city, unlick the statue if the seven then go diving in the watwr above (the should be a text with liffey region above on the map) and go to the tower underwater with the lights and stay in them, you will be teleported to the area.
Thugh the handbook you can also challenge weekly bosses that you havent unlocked jet for charakter materials. There i a new daily commision sythem. Each commission counts as one point. Each chest or ocolus counts as half a point, i dont know a bout quest rewards but event rewards give a lot.
4.4 will be lantern rite with 2 new liyue characters gaming and xianyun (cloud retainer)
Next banners are raiden and yoimiya with a new 4 star chevruse(pyro) there is a pretty big event going on right now so i would recommend doing it aswell as a new seelie event.

As someone who does play genshin way too much, your eula team is pretty much perfect. Ditch the 2 physical artifacts on ganyu and go for either 4 blizzard set for a freeze playstyle or wanderers troupe for reverse melt. Enjoy your Furina, she's fun!
The only reason I quit for a year was because the FOMO (but I call it FearOfHavingMissedOut for past things) grew and grew over time preventing me from coming back.
But then I saw Furina, and like all my decisions, all it takes is a cute girl to solidify my resolve to do something.

Idk if you know but you don’t have to “do” dailies at ar 35 just opening chests, doing quests, or events just anything will complete them for you

i just recently got back into genshin around the same time as you did! last time i played was when sumeru came out (year and a half?) i feel like ive missed out on so much oml . . .
Im a 1.0 player, got active in 1.2, and stayed around to 2.0-ish. Same reason as you, I stopped playing because my friends did. I was casual and only played occasionally to pull on characters, or an archon/story quest released.
It sounds pathetic but I really regret the amount of gameplay (events specifically) I missed out on and felt like I was the only one that did but seeing you play makes me realize I wasnt lol
(I started actively playing mid 4.2 again. before that, I only logged on once every 1-4 months)
I also love Eula! Shes my fav character and my main! :)), i think you will love the "new" archon quest
