We Ate Octopus!!! Manila Fish Market!

- We took a Jeepney to the Manila Fish Market and had an awesome experience. It was so much fun walking through the market and seeing all of the clams, oysters, lobster, crab, shrimp, fish, and so much more. We then went to a restaurant and they came to help us purchase the seafood. They showed all the ways they could prepare the fish and then we chose how much we wanted. We decided to get crab, oysters, octopus, fish, and squid. The restaurant cooked them each so delicious. We had fun trying each of the things altogether with lots of laughter and enjoying the experience together. The funniest was trying the octopus. Mom gagged and couldn't finish it. Dad ate a big one and had the ink sack pop out and gross him out. We were able to have our own private room at the restaurant and had fun singing karaoke, which is a favorite in the Philippines. We were sad that Sam couldn't join us (he was finishing his classes before the semester ended). We brought home all the seafood so he could try them. The Jeepney ride home proved to be another fun ride. The Manila Fish Market sure was a fun experience!

It's good for the children to experience these kinds of things and such experience will make them more exposed to another kind of culture which they may not encountered in their own home country. Admirable parents. Stay safe, stay together and stay healthy.

Sam is so good looking he can pass as a commercial model or an actor in the Philippines. All he has to do is attend acting workshops being offered by the tv networks in the Philippines.

the kids are enjoying the karaoke... so funny to see grown up westerners trying asian cuisine for the first time. i think the kids has no issues at all specially that little girl eating the food. she's just appreciating the taste and not justifying it. knowing that western foods vs asians are like day and night. each beauty/taste/texture is beyond description. but one thing i noticed, the taste, is really good when you eat them the second or third time around... its about your tastebuds familiarizing it...

Adobong octopus and clamares is my favorite is so delicious and little spicy all the food you get is my favorite shrimp with butter and garlic.

Wow, this video is blowing up! Actually your last few, awesome! Octopus is one of the few things I can't really stomach; I've heard people say it's good but had it once as sashimi (they called it Tako, it was Japanese style) and wow after that I just cannot think about eating it.
The Adobo was actually really delicious. However, my tummy still crawls a little thinking of the texture and that ink sack!
I noticed that your children is enjoying what they see in the market. i also noticed that they don't seem to care about the smell of the market. yes I do agree to the one comment I read that your children need to be exposed to their surroundings and learn about life in the market.👍👍

Were you able to visit at least the Manila Ocean Park right at the back of the Luneta Park? You should at least if you have missed it.
It's better in sea scape manila bay in pasay it's cheaper and the bay area was your view and it's cleaner.....
