This is perhaps the most pleasure I've gained from watching a chess video in ages. The attention to detail and your simple presentation make for a very pleasant viewing. I also watched you video on Carlsen's h6 idea vs the Catalan (also enjoyed it). I have white in a league game in a few days, I hope to get the sicilian on board! I've always been an open sicilian player (out of principle) but these positions look so exciting I'm itching to play them.
He played the Closed Sicilian, but he never went for the a3, b4 plan. He usually wanted to attack on the kingside. It worked great only against Geller.
Very cool, will try this in my next games, followed your recommendations from your chessable course till now, wich was more than satisfying, but this looks pretty smart as well. Did not think, I could learn so much starting out late with chess, but you are able to present it, that even I understand this stuff. Thank you!

Thank you so much, this is so heart-warming to read!
7:00 Spassky played always that position with White. Matches against Petrosian and Geller.
