Hello my lovelies! Today's composition is called 'The Stardust'. All our lives we are told to be like everybody else, so that we fit into the society, and so that others like us. Interestingly enough, however, that in reality if someone likes us, it’s exactly because we differ from others around them. Otherwise everybody would like everybody all the time. It would be nice, I think, if we were taught instead to embrace our quirks, flaws and imperfections, for they make us who we are. By looking at ourselves with kind eyes, we could recognise our own worth, find our true place in the world, and avoid much of both headache and heartache. So, let’s practice a bit of self-love today. Grab your favourite hot beverage, sit in a quiet place, and while listening to the melody, think about one thing that you love about yourself and/or what you think makes you unique. Focus on it, remember situations where that trait played to your advantage. Concentrate on that feature, accept - guilt-free and shame-free - the joy it brings you. It is what makes you special. It is the gift the universe decided to give you to make you unlike anyone else, a unique creation made of the ancient stardust. Nobody else is like you, so thank yourself for being you.
