  • Join Miss Anna and Peter as they tour the historic city of Châtellerault; and find a few brocantes en-route!!
How can you help us grow our channel?
    www.buymeacoffee.com/Wonderfu...
We have the loveliest supporters and followers of our TH-cam channel 'It's a Wonderful Life'.
We remain committed to provide our content regularly, and of late, to increase the frequency of our vlogs. We have and continue to receive, many kind requests, to send gifts, or in some way help us financially with our channel.
We have given this a great deal of thought. Whilst 'Patreon' and 'go fund me' are out of the question for us, we feel the 'buy me a coffee platform' (or for us, a cup of tea!) would be a great way to do this, especially in light of its ease of use and non ongoing commitment.
Any contribution towards maintaining and hopefully enhancing our channel is very much appreciated, but never expected.
Thank you again for all your support and kind comments, and perhaps even a 'nice cup of tea' Anna and Peter

Had to say goodbye to by amazing Pippa at Christmas making the decision was a aurful thing to do , seeing you're TH-cam brought up back so I know how you feel mine we rescued and she turned out a beautiful dog. The places you show us have beautiful Architecture you've good taste and France has some beautiful places, watching people doing up place's teaches you how to do things but I did houses up in the 1970s into the 90s. We bought cottages that they were thinking about pulling down all no electric water or sewerage pipes, new roof but it was really happy happy time's all we needed was everything passed . We didn't employ anyone learned from books but my partner was a trained plasterer, trained in the old ways specially in coving in old houses hundreds of year's old laying floors on reeds. Thank you for showing real life that's why I watch lots of people in France you are amazing with you're woodwork , was easy for us to buy industrial woodwork machines to make doors and windows so expensive love to you both ❤️

Hi Anna and Peter, love the journey’s you both take us on, such pretty places with so much history and very few people, I watch a lot of You Tube and it seems to me that most of the little towns and villages are deserted! there never seems to be anyone about, I think there all in Paris, lovely video as usual, you are both looking so good, much love xxxxxxxxxxxxx😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The théâtre Blossac is an absolute stunner inside, if you can ever go to something, it’s worth seeing. Tiny little jewel of a 19th century Italian style theatre, It was restored just a few years ago. (Pictures on line, probably). Chatellerault clearly had a wealthy past. Unfortunately, it’s seen a long decline. Maybe there’s hope for some renewal/revival.

    Thanks for the tour.
12:25 This building was a military tower with the little windows at the top for the guards and the former door entrance, accessible with a ladder, you take for a window.

I can't believe all these beautiful towns that you take us all to ! They have all kept their individuality and character unlike anything here in UK . Here they just knock everything down that's remotely old and build monstrosities out of metal and glass ! And its so quiet everywhere , I envy you both ! Thanks for sharing .

I know the feeling: good taste but no $$$$. Châtellerault = Châtell-ro. You don't pronounce the e between l and r, and ault = o.
