She wore the necklace when they were going to deliver some scrap metal for an armorwing. Hiccup came to her hut saying: *Hey, can you believe this wedding thing?* then Astrid said: *yeah they can't seem to take their eyes off of eachother..* and she was blushing then Hiccup said: *So are we gonna deliver some scrap metal?* and Astrid sighed sadly and said: *Okay* a few minutes passed and Astrid went in front of Hiccup saying: *Hiccup, did you notice anything does anything seem different to you?* and she was hoping he would notice the proposal necklace but then he said: *Oh yes! Right in front of my eyes this whole time! And then another few minutes later the armorwing got shot by a dragon hunter and everyone was asking Hiccup what to do and Astrid was just trying to help the dragon snd Hiccup scratched his neck from behind and looking at astrid with a sad face and Astrid felt him looking at her and she turned around and walked to him and grabbed his hand and said: *I'm with you* and he smiled and said: *I know* and then they finished fighting the hunters and went back to the edge and Hiccup took Astrid outside to talk to her and Astrid said at first: *Don't say anything I was being silly..* and he ssid: *No you weren't iw should've noticed that necklace right away... but it's not about that... Astrid I've been taking you for granted I have and I've realized that today.. I wouldn't have done any of this without you Astrid not the Dragon riders or the edge, you've always been there for me.. and I wanna always be there for you... I love you Astrid Hofferson, with everything I have, and always will..* Astrid looked at him with a smile and said: *I know you do..
