It is not true. It does not take 20 minutes to take it in. It took 2 minutes for me. And it took the pain away immediately I did not have to wait 20 minutes. And I did not feel any pain after that ever. I could not even feel when they put it inside.

I agree! never felt a thing most times your mind is well on those contractions coming an going anyway to be worried about a pinch of a needle. Epidural was the BEST decision I've ever made. No regrets whatsoever.

nawab imran The doctor can see it on the monitor when contractions are coming and when you have to push via the belt they put on your belly. When the contractions came they told me to push. So it make it possible not feeling any pain during birth. Mine was like that. I did not feel any pain and I am grateful.
