When i first started this hobby last year your “My first year of painting gunpla” is what drove me to start Gunpla being that i was on the fringes of airbrushing already. I’m glad they’re redoing the molds for the Sazabi. I acquired the 1.0 through taiwanese seller that always restocked them. I’ve basically waited half a year for the seller to notify they’re redoing the mold. This basically leads me to believe that later down the road - in 2 years- if I want multiple quantities of YJL’s current kits down the road they’ll likely be recasted

I'm SO glad TH-cam randomly suggested ITSAGUNDAM in my feed. My goal this weekend is now to dig up my box of G Gundam models and display them! (screw you, that show was so stupidly fun :p)
SKYGRASPER was the jet. It could deliver weapons to the Strike Gundam or be a support unit in battle. It could also use the weapons that it was carrying if needed. I own the PG SKYGRASPER + Aile Striker add on kit that I bought for the PG Strike Gundam. It's a nice kit.
A comment for the algorithm so that Gundam gets somewhere in secret before Mama comes in and smashes him into the ground for his ability to survive the nuclear wasteland that is TH-cam. After the internet is dead, Gundam and Phil will crawl out of the debris and have a final grand duel to be the last man standing.
I havent built a Gundam kit at all yet, but am seriously considering buying one after watching your videos for awhile, been painting model cars for about a year, and got an airbrush because of this channel, planning to step up my painting a notch with the next few builds I plan to do

These are amazing. The Strike, Zaku II, and Sazabi are awesome. You should check out the Kotobukiya Armored Core Kits. You can be a lot more free with your paints since customization was a huge part of the series.

Good work. The jet's called a "Skygrasper" (yes, have watched the show which is crap, but I also like the strike design). I have a master grade of the Strike too that I hope to paint eventually.
My main problem with the Wing EW kits is that they have some terrible nubs and seams. The build is fun, not impressive at all, but it works and I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the idea behind them, because a decent amount of people (in the US) probably only build the Wing kits. Definitely one of my favorites for a quick fun Master Grade Build. Love all your paint jobs by the way.
When you talk about what you're trying to do with the colours ('not a toy' 'semblance of light') sounds like Still Life painting but on a 3d object. Maybe people who make game assets will have techniques you could use?

So, according to AwesomeToys.TV, there is a known issue with the Unleashed Granddaddy with the piece connecting the shoulders and chest that is brittle and is prone to breaking. Also the ankles too. Basically, Pandi might have Fhawked up with their biggest release of 2020
That is only ONE incident, pretty much no one else has reported the issues. Do not spread misinformation, there is no confirmation that this is an issue with the kit. Unless more people have the same problem, don't go around spreading rumors.
How exactly is it a rumor when there is evidence in the actual video? Did you watch it? I can also see if it is a defect that that effects just a few, but don’t act like you are trying to protect daddy Gundum or Bandi with your idiocy

I own them both MG 1/100 and HG 1/144 and they're both unique in their own ways. I'm currently painting the MG 1/100 inner frame. I've been detailing the pistons and vents and joints. I know that there's a joint on the 1/144 machine gun that the 1/100 doesn't have. And this is my second time painting the pilot figure that goes in the cockpit for a MG 1/100 kit but I've been building Gunpla for over 20 years. I only got into painting my models in the past 6 years. But the MG 1/100 is a 20 year old kit and the HG 1/144 is 11 years old. So it's up to you. Do you like MG 1/100 or HG 1/144 more? How long have you been building? What's your level of experience? They both can be fun kits. And older MG 1/100 are easier and not as complex as today's. Have fun building.
Gonna watch every second in the hopes someone at TH-cam catches a hand cramp while cutting you a $5.00 check.
