Hey Guys, A couple things (I am going to email you as well, I am working on a bid for a Chinese Restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, and on a time crunch. 1) Can the face be painted? 2) Shipping dates. There are roughly 3 Zones A) The Restrooms with a loop of "Learn Chinese". B) A VIP/ Meeting Room with RF Mics, Video PB, Music PB (isolated) 10 ceilings 10'x15', C) Last the Dining 25'x48', Bar 25'x25' & Wait area 10'x15' with an option for an outside Patio later. The ceilings are 10-13 feet, SD4 in Bar & Dining, VCA 8s for Wait and VIP, small ceiling speakers in Restroom and Hallways
Hi Thom, On your first question, yes, both the VCA8 and SD4 may be painted. However, the paint needs to be rolled on instead of sprayed. We advise that you speak with a Sales Engineer for specific instructions before proceeding. On your second question, both speakers are expected to be shipping by the end of the month. If you need something faster we have plenty of other great options available. We would love to assist you with this project. You can email sales@proacoustics.com, call (888) 256-4112, or visit our website www.proacousticsusa.com/ to request a custom quote. Be sure to mention your deadline. You'll work directly with a Sales Engineer who will be able to answer any additional questions you may have. We hope to hear from you soon!
In reference to the VCA8, specifically for a church lobby, can these be powered by an available channel from the main PA amp? Because they are 8ohm, they can be power like any other 8ohm speaker?
Hi Lucas, Both the VCA8 and SD4 speakers can be effective solutions for most drop ceiling environments. The SD4 will offer more flexibility than the VCA8 due to its additional coverage and 70V capability. The SD4 also has deeper bass and higher output because of the steel back box, and 4 drivers instead of 3, which makes it better for louder music like you might want in a fitness class. The SD5 is the premier version optimized for more critical listening environments where vocal intelligibility is needed but at a lower volume than fitness tends to require.

Yes, the VCA8 can be powered by an amplifier with low-impedance, like any 8ohm speaker.
Would this be good option for a group fitness class? What's the difference between this and the SD5?

Hello
Do you guys have the cover for the 2x2 series 1 by any chance?
Thank you
Hello, Can you clarify what you are looking for? Do you need a grill for the VCA8 speaker?
