U right, U right, U right, U right, U r so right!!! I saw all the documentaries and programs u referenced.
Every knee must bow and every tongue confesses that YESHUA is Lord. 'Jah live 'is my favourite song from Bob. I imagine myself singing it when they crucified Yeshua. U can kill the body but never the soul.
Bob clearly had a job to do but got misled for a while.

Halle Salessi came to Jamaica to convince the Rastafarians that he was not the second coming but just a man. He urged them to follow Jesus. But they took his humility to mean he really was a living God. But Bob's mother Cadella was very much a lover of the bible and Bob Marley I think, always carried that with him. He did take some of his stories/songs from bible verses. He just questioned it all for a while in his youth and rightfully so. Roman emperors and popes did a lot to twist the bible around. I'm actually very interested in Ethiopian Orthodoxy because it is the oldest text. I wish I could have access to learning more about it, in person, but I'm not able to do that.

I am a huge Bob Marley fan, his music provides to this day inspiration. I do often wonder if he had got baptized years prior to his diagnosis of cancer, would that had made him change his mind on the medical advice that they doctors recommend. Would he had beat this disease. I do know that as a Rasta they believe in natural healing, which is good for certain illnesses but what brings me to wonder is because he did change his mind on chemo but it was too late 😢 and he said it was due to his religious beliefs.

You are on point. Also, in 1979, Bob Marley met and spoke with Dick Gregory. This was Bob Marley played at the Amandla Festival at Harvard University. While I cannot prove it, I suspect that Dick Gregory might have had some influence as well. In those days Dick Gregory was a health Guru. Something to think about. Beyond civil rights, Dick Gregory did not always give sound advice. Facts!

Bob was baptized and loved the Lord, as evidenced by the references made in so many songs. Rastafarian is a lifestyle choice & their belief in God is the true religion followed. Rita Marley has spoken on this matter, Bob wanted to be sure he made it to Heaven. When I arrive in Heaven, he’s one I will look for so I can give him a hug & thank him for the amazing music he created while on earth…

      Explain this too:
"Michael acknowledged that while Selassie showed respect to the Rastafarians whom he came in contact with in Jamaica, he made it very clear to them that he was not God,” Turner added.
“I was there, and some man started to cuss and burn a fire,” Turner quoted Ras Michael as recalling about what transpired when Selassie told the gathering that he was not God.
“Some listened to come to a better understanding,” Ras Michael added. “Even myself started to question whether Selassie was God. I could not comprehend. Christ, however, has always acknowledged who he is.”
“After all, Haile Selassie was a Christian man, who did not adhere to Rastafarian teachings,” Turner said.
“We Rastafarians wanted to give him (Selassie) what he was due,” Ras Michael said. “However, worshiping him as God could not be.”

I would even add that if you listen to his catalog after 1976, overtly rastafarian messaging significantly decreased from his song writing until his death. It was almost like he was playing a game. I think he started deconstructing his entire worldview as a response to the assassination attempt and was seemingly slipping in and out of religious consciousness. He was processing Christianity while having to throw Rastafarian bones to secure the credibility of his career as he went forward. I've read the deconstructing might have started from the point Selassie passed away which is before the assassination attempt. Regardless, it is a curious omission when processing the complexity of his full journey.

First of all of Bob Marley only became a Christian for the last 7 months of his life ,then its it cannot hold if he never denounced Rastafari ,and that's alao implying that Rastafarians are not Christians. If anyone think that a people who read and follow the same Christian Bible are not then Christians or the people of God then it's deeper than an IQ issue. Rastafarians refer to The Ethiopian Emperor as the second coming of Christ as a King, then what's the issue?. And how could anyone ,in this d a y and age, claim to be Christian in the sense of a true follower of Christ after the same institution who put people to death such as John Hussand many others, are the same people who sanctioned the gutting and padding of what we know as the word of God. Then what is anyone actually following?. Finally they said the Bible was the inspired word of God ,doesn't it bother you thst the last set of inspiration occurred over 2000 years ago? This is shameful whichever way you cut the blame, whether it be on humanity's side or God's side.

Right Bob Marley became a Christian in 1980 when he was singing about accepting Christ throughout his entire music career, and when he spoke about accepting Jesus Christ in his interviews that didn’t mean he was a Christian to you right? People that wanna talk about our faith our culture and our profits but don’t actually know about them and wanna mislead people so that they don’t become Rastafari I like Bob Marley they want us to be just Christians like them you know what people don’t understand our beliefs beyond excepting Jesus Christ because they don’t study the way we study they don’t go to Rastafari Tabernacle and listen to the elders they go to Christian churches to learn about Jesus Christ, Bob Marley excepted Jesus Christ early on when you see him become baptized in his father figures house the way he was baptized then you want to twist the narrative and make it seem like he gave up on all his beliefs well he never said that he did and his mom talks about him as a Rastaman telling us that he expressed his faith in Haile Sellassie while he was dying in her she talks about him being a Rasta man from the day he started saying Haile Sellassie is the Almighty she doesn’t talk about changing or converting everybody else does people who don’t know about his life people that aren’t Rastafari , do you have any questions for somebody that actually knows about his studied him listened to Bob Marley’s words and understands the beliefs that he’s involved with? Congratulations to him if he indeed converted to the Christian faith
It’s unfortunate that some people have chosen to serve a fellow man who indeed, told them that he is a worshipper of Christ
It’s a pity that this fake religion came up as a result of the brutality of the white man during the time of slavery.
Proponents of this religion imagined a situation that does not bring them in contact with the white man, so adored Haile Selassie for his resistance to imperialism
And unfortunately this religion came up to sweep a great number into Hell
Many of Bob Marleys followers will not want his conversion public because they are still benefiting from his Rastafarian legacies

Southern Baptisat, Anglican, Jehovah Witness, Mormons, Christianity of Nicence Conference .Like the American Indians once said the colonizers talk bout Christ, but they live Christ.Rsstafai would never Subscribe to that invalidity of what Christ is. It's in I and so it's in him. Ethiopia is one of the Oldest Christ Nation totally opposite to the other Christianity. So when we talk bout Christianity What variant? The Book tells you that Christ is not a Man it's an anointment. Why is all the heathen on the Rasta Bandwagon? Apparently is something that the Rasta knows that they Don't. Converte to Christianity most Rastas came from a Christian=Spiritual back ground. Christ =Ka=Spirit=Energy we Africans always dealth with the Spirit that's why we are so aloof of the others. Seems like these Christians are lonely. Needing some form of additive to their broken concept of what Christ is. Glory to His Majesty.. For David's Sake.

Also for those who have satisfactorilu come to the conclusion that Rastafarians are worshipping a fellow human, you have not disqualified a human from being a god,and son of the Most Supreme Creator. Psalms 82:6-7 states even before the coming of Christ,ye are God's and children of the Most High, but ye shall die like men and fall like one of the angels (FYI the Falken angel here is Anu King of the Anunakis, and father to Enki and Enlil and Granpa to Murdoch and Thoth). The reason that no horse, goat, sheep or lion is required to have a religion,is thst they do not have a higherself like humans do. This higherSelf is the very frequency and textures of the Creative Force called Christ . The thing is whatever the lowerself believes it's Christ frequency will create it . This is the reason they lie to us ,so thst once we be(LIE)ve it we create the world they want to live, govern and reign Supreme in. If we know gruth then we would just through having that higher-CHTIST-Self create the world based on truth and not in THOTH the Egyptian God and creator of Polarity and also the programmer of opposites and our different languages ,but you were told thst nen were building a tower to reach heaven!!??? yes,now am trusting we are grown adults and follow the words spoken God very carefully there and then
