    Very simply the truth is not a straight line for us you have to go through channels in order to come to your conclusions and there’s nothing wrong with that and if you’re attaching yourself to people who don’t respect you undermine you and have no allegiance to you. You’re hurting yourself anyway, so I say let people grow and land where they feel comfortable.

    Ok, I’ve NEVER heard a black person say we have no culture and I’m 33, if your saying that you were there then say your generation perpetuated that crap. Porkchop! You are absolutely correct! However, it was the folk who were baby boomers and the silent generation who kick started this mee. My generation (Gen X) continued it. Your generation had to try and repair much of this stuff. While I was not guilty of that rhetoric, I knew those who did. This is why my channel is so vital. Please forward my channel to others you know. I appreciate you checking me out. Understand something. When you hear black foreigners saying that we don't have a culture, they got that from those black Americans talking out the side of their necks. Some of this stuff is self inflicted! I am proud of the fact that a young sister your age is getting it right. Trust and believe that I have more to come. Thanks for your support. If we as a people do not get it right this time, it's over. Remember I told you this!

      Are you saying that Blacks folks in these United States are the only ones in the diaspora? You need to do serious study. Did not Marcus Garvey refer to himself as a Black Man? So did Paul Bogle. In fact , there were Jamaican singers who made songs identifying themselves as black. What are you talking about? While there are Caribbean folks not identifying themselves as Black today, that was not always the case.

      @@Dr.SoulBrother other people in the world calling themselves black is just a common slang word that they picked up from us hopping on our bandwagon to get our benefits. There is no ethnic group in these other countries called black with the exception of South Africa. How can you be black if there is no ethnic group in your country called black this is not rocket scientist. Everyone with brown skin is not black by your logic…Hindus & arabs are black too huh. I recall 25 years ago, while in junior college, i described myself as a Westerner to one of my instructors. I reconciled with that a long time ago. It took me a while to Embrace Ivan Van Certimas doctrine of Our history in America, but i do. I realized ten years ago that Pan African ism was dead. I learned 15 years ago when i got a passport that our older generation was not enforcing good cultural habits. Western/industrial culture is weak on speaking out against issues of feminism, gay rights, gangster culture, or hood culture. Crack cocaine money replaced the black male leadership, and we lost touch with youth.

    • @Dr.SoulBrother
      @Dr.SoulBrother 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I am trying help course correct much of that. Pan Africanism has turned out to be an absolute failure! You cannot make Black Americans believe that foreign blacks are superior to them. Not only that, it is criminal to go in on our history/culture here in America. It is fine to know and learn about our ancient African past. However, it becomes highly problematic when it is done at the expense of your own Black American heritage & culture here!

Every race on this planet takes pride in the own culture they assimilate to this poisonous colonial capitalism that just makes 90% of people underpaid slaves while the richest 1% controls all the information. We need our own government our own finances. Separation would be the best thing for us. If we build it up, the oppressor tears it down. Right Bob Marley became a Christian in 1980 when he was singing about accepting Christ throughout his entire music career, and when he spoke about accepting Jesus Christ in his interviews that didn’t mean he was a Christian to you right? People that wanna talk about our faith our culture and our profits but don’t actually know about them and wanna mislead people so that they don’t become Rastafari I like Bob Marley they want us to be just Christians like them you know what people don’t understand our beliefs beyond excepting Jesus Christ because they don’t study the way we study they don’t go to Rastafari Tabernacle and listen to the elders they go to Christian churches to learn about Jesus Christ, Bob Marley excepted Jesus Christ early on when you see him become baptized in his father figures house the way he was baptized then you want to twist the narrative and make it seem like he gave up on all his beliefs well he never said that he did and his mom talks about him as a Rastaman telling us that he expressed his faith in Haile Sellassie while he was dying in her she talks about him being a Rasta man from the day he started saying Haile Sellassie is the Almighty she doesn’t talk about changing or converting everybody else does people who don’t know about his life people that aren’t Rastafari , do you have any questions for somebody that actually knows about his studied him listened to Bob Marley’s words and understands the beliefs that he’s involved with?
