Honestly, I relate to Kawi so freaking much. I've never had sex so it's as scary and confusing for me as it is for him. I also have this opinion that sex doesn't have to be as significant in a relationship as people make it to be. But since our society is hella sex oriented, I doubt there's that many people agreeing with me. And yep, maybe that'll change after I have sex and maybe it won't but I still think both should be okay and not shamed or erased.
Just like you I have never had sex either. To me my opinion changes back and forth. Sometimes I'll think it's not significant (especially at times I really just want someone to take interest in me) and times I do think it is (when it's someone I really care about). But at the end of some of those relationships I'm really glad I didn't have sex with them whether it was a real relationship or a friend offered because we became close.

Sorry but I'd definitely want to know if someone is worth putting time and effort into before fucking them.
