Comfort is super important to me with shoes, looking to get either something like this or maybe a bit loafer but want it to last if I’m spending money. Any recs? I’ve heard AE can be comfortable and decent things about Cole haan loafers
I have personally not tried cole haan, so can’t speak on the quality. However, I have a couple Allen Edmonds - park avenue and James dress loafers. I’ve had my park avenues for like 5 years, so the quality is good. Dress shoes and bit loafers wouldn’t be as comfortable as summer walks tho.
@@chonger totally understand that, I probably need something more dressy like a bit loafer. I just don’t want to hate myself while wearing them lol
great video! you said you wear size 10 1/2 but you bought them in size 43, so they do fit bigger?
I wouldn’t say they fit bigger per se, but since I’m wearing them without socks I can go down a half size. Also when I wear size 10.5 shoes they have maybe a little too much room in the toe (but I prefer that as I can just tie my shoe tighter), whereas with a slip on I don’t want my foot to slide back and forth or my ankle to lift up (since I have skinny feet and ankles).

I mean you can just replace them when they wear out lol. I usually get 1-2 seasons out of each pair of Summer/Open walks
Ya I mean can always replace, but at the same time at that price I would like something to last longer.
what color way are these classic blue or navy?
They are classic blue!
So what's the verdict after 9 months of wearing them? Did they hold up? Are those lp worth the 1k ?
Tbh I haven’t been able to wear them that much since Vancouver gets a lot of rain. Hopefully weather in July switches up and I can wear them more. I can really speak for the durability yet, but I guess irregardless I’ll have them for a lot of time if I can barely wear them 😂

worst quality shoes i ever owned. they cost a fortune. the rubber sole turns yellow after one year. they stretch a lot. terrible quality
