One thing to remember about the Ultraman shows now is that they don’t have enough of a budget to do the dismembering attacks with practical effects like in Showa, hence why they’re digital.
It is not about budget, it is about the parents. The digital thing costs more than the practical effects. ultraman taro is much less mature than ace because of the parents. It is also why we don’t have much of this dismembering attacks on heisei
