Thanks for the interesting vid. Can you tell me the size of the spigot on the sanding block? Is it a 21mm OD for a 20mm ID hose? Been trying to work out how to connect my own blocks to the Festool hose on my Festool CTL-SYS. That hose maybe the solution.

The place close to to me that sold auto body supplies closed down recently and that is a bummer because they had a lot of abrasive materials that had Grits running into the Thousands. That stuff would be ideal for sharpening plane blades and chisels…

The Festool approach is to create an entire system that isn’t just about the block or the hose but those two things combined with a variety of different papers, Velcro interface pads and more and more you see abrasive net products like the Granat Net that really work on very Dusty or Crumbly material like Bondo or Drywall. Does the hose for this plug straight into the festool machine or can you connect it to the standard festool hose for longer reach??
$20 for the same thing at my AutoBody supplier . $169 from Festool!!
