I have zero use for this and I still want one :O I wanna roll it over things and feel the weight of it, it's so gorgeously made. Also cheap! I expected it to cost hundreds
This is a valid question. I was curious myself, so I looked it up. It is a leatherworking tool used to press layers of leather and/or other materials together under a glue bond to ensure good adhesion of the layers without bubbles or wrinkles. I don't watch this channel and I don't do much leatherwork, and it seems that this channel is aimed towards more experienced leatherworkers rather than novices. Still, I feel the video would have been better served with at least a brief explanation of what the device is and what it is for. Anywho, there's your answer. It's a tool used to press layers of fabric or material together to ensure a solid bond in the adhesive.

Roofers would use it to help flash thier seams for torch down.
Will now have to check out Dream Factory.
Thanks
