For my first DAP I got an AP80. I've been very happy with it. I used my Gratos first and it sounded great. To my suprise it powered my HD660S. For being a small player it doesn't get hot. It's a very good player for the money. Only complaint I have is it can be a bit laggy when storage is close to full on internal and SD.
My Gear on the Go: -Linsoul BLON BL-03 IEM -Hart Audio QDC balanced custom cable -Hidizs AP80 Pro-X DAP -Adv. Eartune Fidelity Customers Eartips Not a bad buy for me.
Here's my MSEB settings for the Skullcandy Ink'd Plus. (My preferred model of Earbuds, these settings also sound good on the One Odio A71 over ear "cup" headphones). SET TUNING BAR TO "FINE TUNE" (0-20, NOT 0-100). I used 3 songs to get this. One: ELO - Strange Magic Two: Arsonist - Respect The Unexpected Three: Dir en grey - Ugly One is an old 70s classic rock tune. Jeff Lynne really tended to bury the Cymbols in his mixes and I wanted to try and make them more highlighted. Two is a nice thumpy late 90s Hip Hop track with good drums and solid bass. Three is an old-school Japanese Metal track with a lot of thumpy kick drums, weird electronic noises and lots of Cymbol work going on courtesy of DeG's drummer Shinya. I managed to make all three of these tracks sound the way I want them to with the MSEB. Bar 1: Negative 12. Bar 2: Positive 8. Bar 3: Positive 12. Bar 4: Positive 12. Bar 5: Negative 8. Bar 6: Positive 12. Bar 7: Negative 14. Bar 8: Negative 8. Bar 9: Negative 12. Bar 10: Positive 12. Optimal Volume is 45. Gain is set to LOW. Digital Filter is set to Fast Filter, Phase Compensation.
How many Volt does the 3,5 mm headphone output put out at highest setting? Does it have a decent line out option? I still use my FiiO X2 II and I think it has close to reference output @ 1,7 V with line out mode on.
I believe there is a setting to Disable Volume Keys when Screen is Off, at least my Hiby R3 Saber has it. I use that to keep from accidentally changing volume when I stick the unit in my pocket...
Not connecting to "iPhones". Even my old Fiio X5ii worked as DAC with my Android out of the box. And it was more power greedy, I believe. Well, I can easily connect even a LaCie Rugged drive to an Android, so DACs aren't problem at all.
the samsung s21 can power the pro x as a dac through usb, but it drains the battery pretty quickly, I would recommend having the battery of your phone and the pro x nearly full
Hi, just watched your video. Caught the fact the you've got a Sony Nwa105. I've got one of these, great little player but for the dreaded battery. Looking to replace but I don't want android, just pure hi res with Bluetooth. What would you recommend? I also love the size of the Sony and weight. Many thanks Graham
The more technology you use the lower battery life you will get? Huh? So does the player last shorter over bluetooth than it does driving a headphone through the 3.5mm jack?
I watched that video because I hoped to see more of the software and interface but you don't show much of it. Why? No menues, no setup screen, no musicplaying screen...
Hello brother, get the T17S instead, it may be double the price of the T17, but its quite a good futureproof earbuds. Bass is decently strong, especially when you can boost them further in the App. =D
It does, in settings. But it doesn't really work. If you turn on your bluetooth or access any other menus beside your library, it will take you back to the first song in your library.
since they are around the same price point, I'll still give it to the Neobuds Pro as i think it's an overall more modern and better featured earbuds. great sounding too!
This will not work with iPhone draws too much power. So will not work as dac on iPhone. This company just ignores you if you have a problem. Also it’s a kick starter company. No real backing I presume. Also what not said in the reviews is that you need to buy and use their proprietary cables for it to work. And the cables supplied are way too short to be practical.
The UI is so clunky. If you have a large library, it takes forever to find your albums. This thing needs a click wheel like the ipod nanos used to have. Also, the first song in your library better be a good one because this thing will take you back to it every time you access your settings, turn on your bluetooth, or restart your device. I would strongly recommend to look for something else. Maybe the new Sony that's about to come out?
Yeah but how long are those 5 songs why would you say that or make that statement I only have five songs and it's taking up one gig of space that's bulshit I can fit a ton of songs in one gigaspace I mean you need to clarify that because that's just stupid
Please dont say ' how the artist intended' ...They are a lot of people in the studio to determine how it sounds. Especially the sound engineer. So that line don;t mean much. In fact, I dont think most artist even know how it want to sound like.
Don’t buy it!! Bluetooth sucks with iPhone, hidisz cable to connect to iPhone doesn’t work which they know but keep selling it anyways. On/of volume wheel lasted 4 months, not possible to turn it on anymore. Don’t waste your money on this!!!

Does it support Spotify?
This DAP is really cool! very good quality so far

Bos pki earphone apa ye??
Sean. You did not mention adding apps to the player. Can you add tidal to the player and play from it?
You cannot.

Which is better for protection? Silicone or leather
apple lightning port wont work but im sure android phones with type c will

Does this support TIDAL and Spotify streaming? If not, what are the other options?
I don't think so
I think for that you have to grab one of the Android type players with built-in access to all the online services, etc.
Hiby Rii gen 2
Will this machine play a video? Mp4? And will it act as a bluetooth dac for your phone
I noticed the m42-fx adaptor .
I watched that video because I hoped to see more of the software and interface but you don't show much of it. Why? No menues, no setup screen, no musicplaying screen...
Would be nice in your review to actually use the device, rather than just holding it and spinning it around.
So if I use a regular 3.5 pair of earphones and listen to mp3 files only I can get at least 8 hours of battery life?
i got 12hours of playtime off my ap80 regular. 24ohms over year headphones and flacs
how do you compare the fidelio h2r to something like hifiman's 400se or deva pros? If you've heard those.
Hi may I know the keyboard brand and model shown in this vlog many thanks
Are you able to use a cable with a mic and buttons. Mine doesn’t work. Thanks
So does this thing have a built in dac or why is it so special than using an iPhone 14 pro?
Can connect/Bluetooth with car audio/head unit?
I can see myself bringing this when running
Yea bro, and it supports bluetooth, and since it's so small, perfect for running with them!
no fm am radio with wired headphones?
Can I deactivate Bluetooth on this?
ALWAYS ASK A GURU 😂
i was always happy with qcy t2c especially the bass 🔥 i think about getting qcy t17 what's your opinion? I am downgrading bass ? 😂
Hello brother, get the T17S instead, it may be double the price of the T17, but its quite a good futureproof earbuds. Bass is decently strong, especially when you can boost them further in the App. =D
Is it worth the upgrade from xDuoo nano d3? I have the same hidizs ms2 iem.
Great review! The online user manual doesn’t say if it has different memory playback. Does it support last position played? Thanks!
It does, in settings. But it doesn't really work. If you turn on your bluetooth or access any other menus beside your library, it will take you back to the first song in your library.
Can I also sort the music by album artist on the AP 80 pro-x?
Does it show lyrics? If mp3's embedded with lyrics?
JE LE VEUX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which one is better in term of sound quality and features. liberty 2 pro or neobuds pro?
since they are around the same price point, I'll still give it to the Neobuds Pro as i think it's an overall more modern and better featured earbuds. great sounding too!
@@SeanTalksTech Thankyou so much sean🙏
I have it.
😊👍
Thanks for the support bro! 😁
Does this play video files?
No, it does not support video format.

Why does anyone need a MP3 player when you can use your phone.

i want 1..can u watch videos?
Yeah but how long are those 5 songs why would you say that or make that statement I only have five songs and it's taking up one gig of space that's bulshit I can fit a ton of songs in one gigaspace I mean you need to clarify that because that's just stupid
I recently noticed one of my 24/192 flac files is nearly 1 gig in size, but it is 18 mins long. Hi res🤷🏻♂️
Spofity in ????
No, it's not for streaming music, just playing your own library if HQ music.
