This is one reason why the country remains backward - we praise for politicians for overseeing building infrastructure something that people abroad would not blink at. Politicians in Nigeria concentrate on such vanity projects because they get a cut of money. Why are we not demanding these politicians have policies that creat jobs, improve electricity and water - things that really make a difference to the common man

Only fools in Nigeria would have voted Wike as President of Nigeria, which he cannot even win. Wike bought few PDP DELEGATES with money and he still lost to Atiku. All Nigerians are not PDP delegates Wike can buy with money.
With his current behaviours and utterances in Nigeria politics today, Wike has lost future chances of becoming president of Nigeria.
No party will put him forward as Presidential candidate in future elections.
As far as Nigeria politics of today is concern, Peter Obi will defeat Wike in any electoral contests. I am not obedient member, but wait until Wike is out of office as Governor of Rivers State, that's when you will know his political worth in Nigeria. Those making Wike's home a Mecca at the moment wants Rivers State votes not that they love Wike. They all want to use Wike for 2023 election and dump him afterwards.
