B-Real had to learn how to sound like that when he raps. He was told him that his regular voice was too normal. That he would just end up ghost writing for a replacement rapper. So he developed that voice to stay in the group.

The third album of Cypress Hill, Temples of Boom, is a huge classic. One of *the* definitive 90's hiphop albums. A dark surreal L.A. vibe gone loco.

First time I hear this. My friends older brother came home from the mall with this on a tape with a game genie. Both blew my mind.
These guys used to bring out a giant bong when they did live shows & smoke weed right on the stage. The club would be filled with smoke. This was in the 90’s too. The drug war was still raging & kids were being told to Just Say No... It was wild.
I saw Cypress Hill in 96 and they were slingshotting drugs from the stage into the crowd. Smokin Grooves tour was lit AF.
