Now listen y’all-My husband and I are going to Yellowstone this September for our anniversary, and I have been BINGE-watching Yellowstone videos on TH-cam to the point that my husband is ready to call some professionals and have me evaluated for obsessive tendencies. 😂 That being said, this is 100% my favorite Yellowstone video I’ve ever seen. Not just your awesome personalities-hangry or not 😂-but the fact that you were able to see ALL of this in ONE DAY. Every other video on Yellowstone I’ve watched recommends 4-5 days… and I was getting so nervous that my itinerary was too ambitious… we’re going to have only two days in Yellowstone, but this makes me SO hopeful that we can see all we planned to see-and maybe more-in those two days!! 💕 Thanks so much for taking us along!
I did Yellowstone in one day. Some of the roads were closed due to them being snow covered and you might possibly run into that in September. We were there in May and it snowed the day we went (May 12). We probably could've seen more but they had the south loop closed so after we saw Old Faithful we had to go clockwise all the way back around to go south. You will definitely see Bison. There are thousands. I'm not sure when the bears hibernate but we saw a huge grizzly. Lots of elk. Black bear with twins. And of course lots of what I call, bubbling goo. If you happen to have extra time don't miss Grand Tetons to the south. I'm not sure why they are two separate parks when they are literally touching. But the most gorgeous mountains and lakes, wow.
@@indylaura99 yes, we’re prepared for possible closures due to snow (or wildfires!) and like Matt & Nat, we always come up with a Plan B if that happens. We are doing Grand Tetons for two days, Yellowstone for two days, and a fifth day that’s open for other areas (Jackson) or things we might not have had time for or want to go back to. We’re not on quite the whirlwind journey that Matt & Nat are on, but we travel in a similar way where we go nonstop from sunrise to sunset, packing in as much as we can see! 💕 Also, I heard on another video that the road that was closed while Matt & Nat were there was because they were reconstructing the road, but it is scheduled to be open for 2022, which hopefully will make things easier!! 💕
@@ShowMeAnAdventure We got married in Jackson. It's the cutest town! Very walkable. In between the town of Jackson and the Grand Tetons is the Gros Ventre river and I think the road is named the same. Either direction, great place for wildlife. We saw Bighorned sheep, moose, grey owl, osprey, elk. And don't miss the barn!
Hahaha... So glad we're not alone in our obsessive preparations for our travels! Lol... Awww... This makes our day!! Thank you SO MUCH! And yes, while 3-5 days in Yellowstone would be great, we are firm believers that you shouldn't let time constraints keep you from seeing the world! Sure, you won't be able to see and do EVERYTHING, but you can cover a lot of ground and check off some bucket list items in a short amount of time. Y'all are going to have an AMAZING time! We would have LOVED to see Grand Tetons on this trip, but you know... jobs! 🙄 Lol... Thanks so much for watching and we can't wait to see/hear about y'alls time in Yellowstone and Teton!!
Ha Ha Ha, Old Faithful set to music like the Bellagio fountain cracked me up and so did spanking the sandwiches to put some love in them! Beautiful job guys.
Hahaha... I'm glad someone else got a laugh out of the Bellagio reference! And the spanking the sandwiches had me dying laughing in the moment!! 😂 Thanks so much for watching!😊 -Matt
Haha… Right?! It was pretty incredible! We literally saw 2 other people while we were at Mammoth Hot Springs. I guess that’s the pay off for going after peak season and being there at sunrise! Thanks for watching!😊
My fiancée and I are going to Yellowstone for our honeymoon in June. I got some really good ideas and insights from your video. Thank you for the video.
Rewatching! T-minus 4 weeks until we go to Yellowstone. Lamar Valley is closed right now because of the major flooding they got, so probably won’t see it either. BUT you guys checked off everything we want to do in one day and we’ll have 2 days, so I’m encouraged! And SUPER excited. We’re going about the same time of year y’all did too so it’s good to see the crowds we might expect. Thanks again so much for this video and the blog!!
Kudos to you guys the way you roll with life's punches. Your positive fun "go with It" vibe is a great time watching to see around the next corner with you! :)
We visited Yellowstone August of 2021 and can’t stop thinking about the beauty! Love what you guys are doing! I told you you inspired me to take the kids to all 50 states-heading to Charleston for Spring Break. 😃 Thanks for the positive vibes in all your videos.
Ahhh… We just missed you guys then! This video was filmed in September! Isn’t it spectacular?! Aww… Thanks so much!! 🥰 That’s so awesome! We love Charleston! Hope y’all have an amazing time! Safe travels!😊 Thanks for watching!

Hahaha… Asia is definitely on our bucket list! So thank you for the warning! 🤣🤣 We’ll start getting out air squats in now in preparation! Lol… We hope y’all get to visit Yellowstone sometime soon! Thanks for watching and safe travels!😊😊
Yellowstone is beautiful but besides bison and elk good luck seeing anything else. We did see a moose once and that was cool but I think they took all the bears to the high country : ( Glad you enjoyed yourselves and I love your jacket Nat! If you go to Custer State Park in SD, you can take a jeep tour INTO a herd of buffalo!! It was pretty cool!
Yea, those are definitely the most common sightings for sure (and all that we saw, lol)! We've had friends see bears and have seen videos of people seeing wolves, but definitely less common. Aww... Thanks! I thought the jacket was fitting for Yellowstone! Lol... Ooo... That sounds amazing!!! What an awesome experience that must have been! Thanks so much for watching!😊
Yeah bison and elk tend to be more common in the open fields but in some parts of the park there’s quite a few bears and wolves and goats and such, especially in certain parts of the year. Right?! So beautiful! Aww... Thanks so much, George! Yellowstone is definitely a good one to add to the bucket list! Thanks so much for the birthday wishes!😊😊
Hey guys!! Another awesome video full of geezers, geysers, wildlife and of course the bear spray lol 😂😂!! I think it’s about time you gave the bear spray a name like “The widow maker” or “The can of whoop ass” since it’s become a character all it’s own with a great story behind it. Loved seeing old faithful and the black lake but the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone was absolutely breathtaking. I’m sure the video doesn’t do it justice but my jaw dropped when I saw it. And once again you guys had another bump in the road (or should I say closure) and you put your heads together and came up with a plan that worked out perfectly. That’s so awesome and so “Matt and Nat”. And that’s why your channel is growing and people are seeing the real and genuine personalities you guys have that draws people in and keeps them coming back for more. God bless you both, stay safe and keep those videos coming.
Aw… Thanks so much Joel!! Geezers, geysers, and “The Widow Maker”! Hahaha… love it! Yes, Yellowstone was absolutely breathtaking… especially the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone! Aww… Thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement! That means so much more than you realize!🥰🥰 And thank you for watching!😊
The music with ol faithful felt like a real life Disney movie! 👍👍 nat! SHERRYYY!!!! 😂😂 I spit my tea a little at that one. I vote for more eavesdropping on peoppe in vlogs "You got that safety on?!" "Yeahhhheah!!!" 😂😂😂💀

Another awesome video!! We visited in September 2020 and are returning this September, so it is fun to see how much you all covered in one day! I love your humor (geyser or geezer and wondering how people do vanlife LOL) and how you both adjust/call audibles without being irritated. Thanks again for a great video!
Another wonderful video. Thank you! When we went, we had to wait in our cars while a huge herd of bison crossed the road. For viewers that want to visit a national park, usually the website of the park provides alerts as to what is closed or has changed.
Aww... Thanks so much! Ahh... That's amazing! Yea, the road closure was definitely an oversight on our part. We usually check the NPS website to make sure things like that don't happen, but we missed it this time. So yes... For other viewers, be sure to check the website before your visit so you don't end up like us! Lol... Thanks so much for watching Hedy!😊
That’s so awesome guys!! It’s a challenging task (especially when you only travel Part -time like us) but it can be done! We hit state #50 (Hawaii) in early December! Now we’re FINALLY getting caught up on getting the videos out! Lol… Safe travels and maybe we’ll run into each other on the road!😊😊
This was state 38 of 50! We've already visited and filmed all 50, but we're finally getting caught up on getting the videos out! Thanks so much for watching! And safe travels! We hope y'all have a blast in Nashville in June!😊
Just found you guys, love your reactions. I'm watching this video now, about half way through, but out of curiosity, wanted to know what you thought about the sulfer smell? Lol I've not really noticed anyone mention it in there videos. Yellowstone is a really a neat place with lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. While the South, the North, and the East have some beautiful places. To me, honestly, the West is truly the best when it comes to Natures Beauty. I'm glad to see you enjoying our beautiful country, and so nice of you to share this with others. Wish you two the best of times in your travels.
I've live close to Yellowstone my entire life. I've been there countless times but I loved seeing it through your eyes. BTW THe closed road is because a huge flood took out the road.
You can thank TH-cam for my subscription. I was watching something else and this video popped up on the side for suggested videos. You two are adorable and I can't wait to go back and watch all of your videos. I hope this doesn't offend you but instantly I kept thinking who do they remind me of. Nat, you remind me of Gabby Barrett and Matt's voice sounds so much like Luke Bryan's talking voice. And Matt kinda has that Bradley Cooper look going on when he had the longer hair in Star is Born. I hope that was a compliment and not an insult, you never know who people don't like lol. I'm old enough to be your mom so just blame it on me being old haha. Happy travels!
Hey Laura!! Aww… We’re so glad you found us! Your comment just made our day!! Sorry we’re so delayed getting back to you! And we will take all of those comments as compliments!😊😊 So thank you!!🙏🏼 We really appreciate you watching! 🥰🥰
The Byson looked so relaxed. The view from the overlook was beautiful. I cant believe you were brave enough to drone over it. The old faithful inn looks so cool but nowhere near as cool as old faithful. Hangry is a real emotion and you shouldnt be sorry for it haha I feel nervous now when matt holds the bear spray. What a pretty sunset xx
Right?! Ava there were SO MANY of them! The overlook odd a definite must at Yellowstone! And no… I did NOT fly the drone! Not a chance I’m breaking that law. All of the drone footage is stock/royalty-free footage that we purchased through Storyblocks. Old Faithful and the Inn were impressive and a very cool thing to see in person. And yes, hangry is no doubt a real emotion! Haha As you noticed, the safety never comes off anymore! Lol Thanks so much for watching y’all!!😊😊
Yesss… We REALLY wanted to on this trip, but just didn’t have time. We’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Grand Teton NP! Thanks so much for watching!😊😊
Hi! This vlog is amazing! Where did you guys fly the drone? Isnt it illegal to fly it inside the national park? Me and my husband are going to Yellowstone in August and I plan to use my drone as well. Please give tips! Thank you!
Hi Jennifer! Thank you so much!🙏🏼 Yes… You are correct… It is definitely illegal to operate a drone from within national park boundaries. For that reason, all of the drone footage in this video is stock footage that we purchased licensing to through our subscription with StoryBlocks.com. I SO wish I could’ve flown in Yellowstone, but gotta follow the laws. We hope you have an amazing time in Yellowstone though! It’s a beautiful park. -Matt
First time I went to Yellowstone I was like you so excited seeing my first Bison. But later I saw so many Bison EVERYWHERE I began to get sick of seeing them LOL. I from a distance they can look alot like a bear. Often times I was so excited thinking I was seeing a bear only to be disappointed with...just another stinking buffalo!
Hahaha… Right?!? That’s definitely Yellowstone for you! I think since we were only there for a day, we didn’t get sick of it, but I can imagine much longer and it could get old! Lol… Thanks for watching!😊
Sherri needs to watch her geezer 😂 How beautiful is our country guys? Loved seeing Yellowstone thru your eyes. “wheeze laughing” had me dying! 😆 PS - Happy 23rd Birthday Nat! 😉 🎈 🎂
Oh wow 🤩 that scenery is amazing and you have captured it so well! Yellowstone is a place we have been dying to visit and this vlog makes us even more eager to get there-loved seeing it through your lens!
Right?!? Aww... Thanks so much! Y'all definitely have to get to Yellowstone! We want to get back out to Wyoming and see Grand Teton NP! Thanks so much for watching!!🥰
Hey Kris! Thanks so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video! All of the drone footage in this video is stock footage that we purchased licensing for through StoryBlocks.com. I would have loved to take my drone up in Yellowstone, but I’m quite the rule follower AND a hefty fine from the NPS doesn’t sound very fun! Lol
I wish!! Lol… We did see a DJI drone flying over Grand Prismatic Springs while we were there… Although VERY likely illegally. Lol… Those are the people that make it harder for the rest of us!
Love your videos. Been watching a ton of your videos over the last couple months. Thank you for doing a fantastic job. We just booked Yellowstone a couple days ago for the first week of July. Was watching when you guys went to Norris geyser basin and noticed that you were flying your drone. I thought drones were legal to fly in a national park? I would love to take my drone and get some epic shots. Keep doing your thing! Loving it
Hey Brian! Thanks so much for watching! So glad you’ve been enjoying the videos and so excited for you on your Yellowstone trip! It’s a beautiful part of the country for sure! As for the drone footage, we use a stock footage site called StoryBlocks for any drone footage that we can’t capture ourselves. So any of the drone footage taken within a National Park is footage that we purchased rights to. Because as you mentioned… Drones are very much illegal to operate within National Park boundaries. Thanks for watching and we hope y’all have an incredible time in Yellowstone! -Matt
@@AdventuresofMattandNat Awesome, thanks for that. Explanation and keep doing amazing videos. Guys! Will be in Nashville for the Kenny Chesney concert coming up in August. Just in case you guys are going to be there!!
Yea, from my understanding the only entrance that’s open during the off season is the North Entrance (Hwy 89, Gardiner, MT). The other 4 entrances don’t typically open until mid April/early May I believe. The best place for this info is the NPS website though. This video was filmed in September! Hope this helps! -Matt
I visited a drive through zoo in Idaho a very years ago that has tons of bears & some baby bears as well. Both black & grizzly. Very nice to visit, but it still isn't the same as seeing bear in the wild!
Amazing! We wish we had been able to visit Grand Teton while we were there, but we just didn’t have the time. We hope you have an amazing trip! All of the drone footage in this video is stock footage that we purchased licensing for through Storyblocks.com since, as you know, operating a drone in a national park is prohibited.
Lamar valley is very beautiful place & it has tons of buffalo as well LOL. It's also where the wolves live, but I very rarely see them. I got up at the crack of dawn & it was 4 DEGREES OUTSIDE & I'm standing there holding binoculars freezing to death for about an hour & never did see a wolf. Got tired & drove down the road & did get to see the wolves cousin a Coyote which was nice, but still NOT THE SAME!!!
Ugh… We would have LOVED to see wolves, but understand that they can be pretty elusive. Oh wow! That’s some dedication! But I would do the same thing! Lol… Just in hopes of getting a glimpse of a wolf! Coyote isn’t a terrible consolation prize though! Lol -Matt
Saw so many wolves when I lived in the park. One night a giant grey one was standing in the road staring at us as we drove by! Never forget the eyes and that experience.
@@billybob-ro6qf one of the packs was feeding in Lamar Valley and then another time was actually OUTSIDE the park near mammoth, feeding, fighting bald eagles! Another was on the road into Old Faithful!
Ha ha ha. I laughed when Nat got excited at the first bison she saw. There is no shortage of those there. At Old Faithful you should have walked the path. Some of the geysers there are better than Old Faithful. They just go off less frequent. Old Faithful is just the most predictable thus it’s name.
Hahaha... Right?! They are everywhere! Oh, that's good to know! We would have loved to see Steamboat Geyser (worlds tallest active geyser) in action (in the Norris Geyser Basin) but it only erupts 30-50 times a year, so the likelihood of seeing it on our short visit was pretty slim😭 Thanks so much for watching! ☺
Went there one year & there were fires all around & I'm 100% certain I saw one of the buffalo's on FIRE, he was running very fast & I could see smoke coming off his hair. I even told one of the rangers & they insisted it was just dirt from him rolling around taking a "dirt bath". I'm no fool, I've lived out in the country my whole life & seen cows taking dirt baths & also chickens covered in dirt. I know the difference in dirt & smoke. Sad the ranger either didn't believe me or had no plans of doing anything about the poor buffalo. I also heard that sometimes buffalo get to close to the thermal areas & one of there feet fall in & they get burnt or sometimes die from it. Sadly I also heard some pets end up burnt or dying around the area & sometimes even people do. But at least people should know better than to get off the path.
All of the drone footage in this particular video is stock footage that we purchased licensing for (as noted in the description). That said, we did see a drone flying over Grand Prismatic Spring while we were there... I'm sure illegally. That's not a chance I'm willing to take. Lol
@@AdventuresofMattandNat I thought you were going to say that it was considered part of the forest lands (I was hoping there was a press pass or something). I've been to a few National Parks and it seemed like that areas that drones actually could be flown in were not clearly spelled out. I'm sure that's intentional.
Loving your videos so much. I’m going through all your old ones❤

We are on a mission to see every state this year too! Love this you guys! New subscribers and friends. Hope to see you on the road! ❤️
@@AdventuresofMattandNat that’s so cool! That would be so hard doing it part time! Wow! So inspiring. We can’t wait your Hawaii! ❤️
How many more have you got to go, luv your series, can’t wait to get back to Nashville in June from Uk 🇬🇧
This was state 38 of 50! We've already visited and filmed all 50, but we're finally getting caught up on getting the videos out! Thanks so much for watching! And safe travels! We hope y'all have a blast in Nashville in June!😊
HAPPY and BLESSED BIRTHDAY Natalie!!🙏👍🥳 🎊 vlog was amazing, such a magical place. Stay safe and have fun always you two.
Thank you so much Reuben!! 🥰🥰
Wish you two the best of times in your travels.
very interesting the videos
Thank you, Ricardo!🙏🏼😊
I thought the same exact thing 😁
The Byson looked so relaxed.
The view from the overlook was beautiful. I cant believe you were brave enough to drone over it.
The old faithful inn looks so cool but nowhere near as cool as old faithful.
Hangry is a real emotion and you shouldnt be sorry for it haha
I feel nervous now when matt holds the bear spray.
Haha
As you noticed, the safety never comes off anymore! Lol
Thanks so much for watching y’all!!😊😊
Nice to know about storyblocks.
Haters gonna hate, keep on RV’n U2🌝
Thanks so much, Mark!🥰
Hopefully next time you go you’ll add seeing the grand Tetons to your agenda they are neighbors to Yellowstone and it’s absolutely breathtaking
Yesss… We REALLY wanted to on this trip, but just didn’t have time. We’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Grand Teton NP! Thanks so much for watching!😊😊
Amazing video guys 👍
Thanks so much!!😊
I love Yellowstone! They should be plowing the roads sometime in April. I want to go this Spring. Right now you have to ride in a snowcoach.
It really is amazing! We would LOVE to do the snow coach someday! It looks pretty awesome! Thanks for watching!🥰
-Matt
Been out west, absolutely exquisite!
I'm subscribing because I found you on a reaction channel on TH-cam. European Reacts. Andre from Portugal.
A one day in Yellowstone is a marathon.
Agreed - 3-5 days is what I recommend
Sherri needs to watch her geezer 😂 How beautiful is our country guys? Loved seeing Yellowstone thru your eyes. “wheeze laughing” had me dying! 😆
PS - Happy 23rd Birthday Nat! 😉 🎈 🎂
Hahaha… Right?!? 🤣🤣 We had a good time! Glad you enjoyed the adventure… Hangry and all! Lol
Aww… Thank you SO MUCH!!😆 Forever 23!!! 🤣
Love that shirt, Nat!
Thank you!🥰
Where specifically did you stop at lake Yellowstone, where there was water on both sides?
Enjoyed the video. I am curious how you got drone footage in Yellowstone though…
Lol
@@AdventuresofMattandNat very cool…I wondered if there was a permit I wasn’t aware of!
I wish!! Lol… We did see a DJI drone flying over Grand Prismatic Springs while we were there… Although VERY likely illegally. Lol… Those are the people that make it harder for the rest of us!
in the uk , we call the squat toilet the Franz Klammer, as the position assumed is akin to the legendary down hill skier lol
Amazing! I love it! ❤️
Thanks so much!!😊
Love your videos.
I'm here in Wyoming. Both roads to yellostone were closed. When did you go?
Yea, from my understanding the only entrance that’s open during the off season is the North Entrance (Hwy 89, Gardiner, MT). The other 4 entrances don’t typically open until mid April/early May I believe. The best place for this info is the NPS website though. This video was filmed in September! Hope this helps! -Matt
I visited a drive through zoo in Idaho a very years ago that has tons of bears & some baby bears as well. Both black & grizzly. Very nice to visit, but it still isn't the same as seeing bear in the wild!
So nice! I cant wait to see Yellowstone along with Grand Teton in a few days! Btw, did you guys asked the national park to use your drone?
Amazing! We wish we had been able to visit Grand Teton while we were there, but we just didn’t have the time. We hope you have an amazing trip! All of the drone footage in this video is stock footage that we purchased licensing for through Storyblocks.com since, as you know, operating a drone in a national park is prohibited.
If you want to see more Bison prairie state park by liberal MO located SW Missouri has some Bison too
Looks like fun
Ooo... We'll have to check that out! We had no idea! Thanks for the recommendation!😊
@@ajusa2024 Where did you see them? Was it in Lamar Valley? Got any advice on what time of year, time of day, or what locations are best to see them?
@@billybob-ro6qf one of the packs was feeding in Lamar Valley and then another time was actually OUTSIDE the park near mammoth, feeding, fighting bald eagles! Another was on the road into Old Faithful!
Where is DJ Khaled when you need him? "Another one!" lol
Great as always, you guys! 🥰🙌
Hahaha... Right?! Lol... Thanks for watching, Sam!😊
Where's Kevin Costner?
as they said in the movie Ice Age 3.2.1. sure is Faithful
Where did you guys stay when in Yellowstone ? It’s such a huge park
We actually based out of Bozeman which is about 1.5 hours from the north entrance of the park. Not exactly ideal but much more budget friendly. Lol 😂
@@AdventuresofMattandNat perfect , did you stay in a hotel or a Airbnb?
@@mikewatson5281 We actually stayed in a Super 8 which we do NOT recommend!🤣🤣 But you know… The budget was tight and it did the job! Lol
The squad toilet is actually a clean and your butt doesn’t touch anything option. 😂😂
❤️❤️❤️
Oh wowww!!! That’s crazy! And sad that they didn’t do anything!
You always do your homework before you take off to Yellowstone for construction reasons every year.
Yea… We learned the hard way! Lol… Thanks for watching!😊
and may I ask when Matt's birthday
Mine is April 22nd!😊
I'm not a morning person either
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
France. I’ve seen holes in the floor in restrooms in LeHarve, France! They don’t use toilet seats on the toilets they do have! It’s nasty!
Haha… We never saw those in France, but yes… It’s nasty! 🤣🤣
may I ask when is your birthday Nat
mine is March 10
It was yesterday! March 7th!😊
Happy early birthday!!
How were you able to fly in a National Park legally?
All of the drone footage in this particular video is stock footage that we purchased licensing for (as noted in the description). That said, we did see a drone flying over Grand Prismatic Spring while we were there... I'm sure illegally. That's not a chance I'm willing to take. Lol
@@AdventuresofMattandNat I thought you were going to say that it was considered part of the forest lands (I was hoping there was a press pass or something). I've been to a few National Parks and it seemed like that areas that drones actually could be flown in were not clearly spelled out. I'm sure that's intentional.
If you fall in a geyser, you basically disintegrate, it’s happened.
Yep… Sadly so. A lady fell into one the day we were there and suffered 3rd degree burns.😭
