I lived in Gibraltar for 3 yrs but now living in st.lucia the cemetery is also along side the airport and the vigie beach . I have fond memories of Gibraltar and my trips into Spain and Morocco.
Isn’t it possible that an “aborted landing” could lead to a flight being diverted to another airport, whereas a “go-around” means the flight will not divert? Just wondering.
th-cam.com/video/M2FAGj8KY5w/w-d-xo.html some more Gib aborted landings and bird strike!
Always a fun landing in Gibraltar, you never know if you`ll arrive in Malaga. Even if the sun is out, the winds on the airfield are so very different.
The only time I ever flew with Monarch was to Gibraltar, they were very impressive, it's such a shame they went under.
I have some salt bags that my nana gave to me
Hi! Do you mean that they went bankrupt? Thanks. Have a nice day.
Fair play to the BA pilot on the second attempt!
I find it’s easier and cheaper to get a flight to Malaga these days and get the bus to Gibraltar seeing as that happens so often anyway :)
yea i only saw british airways and royal air moroc this past summer. flew to casablance out to Gibraltar..hope to go back..great place
My mate pissed on that runway.
Runway beside the cemetery. Nice idea.😉
Matthias Hornbostel , yes. I heard there are people dying to get in!

just for anyones knowledge, pilots get 3 attempts to land on the very short Gibraltar runway or then are redirected to malaga 2hr car drive away
was on a go around to here and it’s the planes wheel buster on my first flight with a go around🥴
I was spotting at Gibraltar some days ago and BA red nose A320 made two go arounds and then diverted to Malaga😂👌😑
ok. when we're done here I want to go to that McDonalds.
well spotted! no view of the runway from there but Euroski have a café overlooking the runway. thanks for commenting!

If pilots were Russian one attempt is all that's required.Best
