I love the, "I folded 87!!! I folded 87!" and almost falling out of her chair. There is no better feeling than folding a huge hand and finding out that you were right. That's one of those times where even though you lost, you really won.
Won't say the worst, but on such a wet board being that it checked around a raise on the turn definitely warranted. And definitely as played a raise on the river, not all in but a raise nonetheless.
nobody noticed the title of the video "WSOP Main Event 2024 - Biggest Pots & Crazy Folds on Day 1b" and 1st hand a commentator says, am surprised the pot is this small.. that was funny to me
Honestly i know heaps and heaps of hands aee being played at the WSOP but seriously this is the second video with an absoloutly terrible fold that has miraculously been the correct decision??? she folded on the flop to a relatively small bet, after floping a straight! Last video Haschem did a similar thing in the last vlip video
Genuine question: In Ross position, with AQ and a stack of 58k. How do you not call 5.6K if the pot is 21.8K? How do you find a fold in this position? I want to become a better poker player, but this looks like wizardry to me. I would sincerely appreciate someone giving me a pointer.
Don't know but I can tell you that I was Tom Ross's former silent business partner and he is an ex bankrupt who owed circa £34 million - what a joy it is to see him playing in a $10k buy in tournament (staked or not)
Akkari made a fundamental mistake betting the river after a check. Unlike the announcers, I think Dwyer should shut up and quit commenting on the actions taken on a live hand.
Is this the annual comment you make? Maybe you'd like some slick pink-haired freak, some euro-centric blah blah stripes or some south American walking carnival?
Hand to hand but over a large sample those margins become large profits. I have been playing for a living for 20 years. Its repetitive and boring now but comfortable.
It’s funny cuz he didn’t wanna be aggressive with the 3rd best hand(JJ) and won the min, but when he got aggressive with the best hand (AA) he lost the max.
@@VeriStrawberi so you telling me I should cap my value???? That I should be scared??? Yea it's one bullet but trust me it takes more than chipping up 10bbs per level to make it to the end.

that's the worst I've seen pocket Jacks played
you've never been at the table against me clearly 😢😂
Nothing is worse than the dude busting hand 1 for no reason
How bad could it be…oh it’s bad. It’s really bad.

Nitties!
How he doesn't raise that first hand with the full house is incomprehensible. Like wtf and you put up 10k to play this?!
He don't wanna win the wsop main event
@BigChief1529 there were 2 players with 2 pair and 1 with trips someone would have likely bit
@@BigChief1529where do you play? I want to sit on your left and win some $$$ against a fish 🐟
@@krsharvellobviously he didn’t know that. Maybe he was sure someone would bet? Crazier to me is why Ross folded…
@Krmpfpks I thought the same but maybe he sensed trips or something
the fold with the straight are very impressive!!!
That first hand actually offends me.
yup facts or maybe we are just bad but i agree with you.
What about it is offensive?
@@fezzik7619watch the hand and see
😂😂😂me too, how badly did he play that, won the minimum
@@fezzik7619the fact he never raised once with a set with flush draws pending then called the river bet instead of raising.
folding 78 there is incredible
I think it‘s instructive. I bet the solvers are with her on that one, I will definitely remember this. She probably also had a read.

Been seeing some really horrible play this series thus far. What on Earth are Jacks doing not raising the turn or river in some capacity? Jesus.
Right esp with the full house coming.
turn is meh, but the river is downright horrible. Maybe he was trying to get last player to act to squeeze? No clue
@@leanlasagne8176 nah he's just a horrible player lol
I think the large buy-in, cameras and lights freak people out and they play scared.
@@AngkarYearZerothan why put up 10 k if you're gonna play scared
So unbelievably nitty its offensive
Class fold with the flopped low end of straight.
fold that str8 on the flop is gangster
The raise button is broken in the main event, yesterday was the same crap. Amazing
Love the non reaction from Cooley. I love that the main event has become less of a spectacle in recent years.
The 8 on The river is absolutely A concern for the AQ players when 8x of hearts is an easy holding in the BB defend rangeZz
No, when you hold two aces the combination holding A8 is low. A8 would not be so aggressive on the flop and turn.
LOL JJ wtf ya donk! RAISE RAISE RAISE!
How do you just call there with jacks? Unless somehow he expects the last guy to raise/shove. REALLY bad...
I don't think anyone knows more about playing poker than Eric Seidel.............an absolute legend of the game!
Next year I am playing in this one. So many FISH, its incredible
That first hand was MAJOR FACEPALM
these people are absolute legendary poker players!!! let's get fired up in here
Here we go, K5 of clubs, a gutshut, almost drawing dead, calls 5k. Jacks full, also calls. Unbelievable...
Players not involved in hands shouldn't be talking about the play.
Some min value on that first hand.

Lots of keyboard pros that’ve never played in an event 💀 I played the ME from a satellite when I was 22 back in 2016 I was very nervous

How didnt kq raise the k3 😂😂
The way people dont play for value their hands makes the main event super SUS.
Day one nerves no doubt
The first hand is so timidly played by everyone, makes me uncomfortable.

Anyone else she her say “ a queen?” And then not stand up. It’s like they told her a Q is coming
She was asking another player at the table if they folded a queen.
Of course she got lucky
