    Dumb question, but is the paint roller wet? Do you mist more than once? Thanks!

      Happy to read this! Now it's my turn. I poured a 1'x 18ft. Entryway slab. And I don't like the finish. I think it was the rocks in the mortar. ( Or it being my first slab pour lol) But I'm going to give this a shot now. But I have regular mortar or I can remove the rocks using a strainer for this thin overcoat.

    Nice work and very interesting technique. I just poured my first ever slab 4'x16' and I did a wet pour. My finishing left a lot of imperfections including a small valley which will definitely hold water when it rains. Could I use this method to fix it? Just spread it over the whole thing so it's consistent? Any tips?

    🔥🔥🔥 awesome i been using your motar method 🤙 accidentally bought rapid Set Mortar mix but it end up being 6000 psi as well must the rapid Set version of repair mortar 🤙 but question you are the 1st and only person i seen do this mortar method where did you learn it from🙌or did you figure it out on your own 🙌

    • @WallstreetMuscle
      @WallstreetMuscle  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Figured it out on my own by complete accident bro. A company installed tile over my brothers concrete by his pool and it looked terrible so we had to smash it apart. That mortar i use is what they used to lay the tile. It damn near impossible to get the tile to separate from the concrete. That stuff had it welded on. All I needed to see bro. Knew it would work for dry pour. I love your vids by the way. Great editing.

    Really enjoy your videos, it was so helpful. I did a dry pour with Quickcrete, screeded the hell out of it, then paint roller! It was a very smooth top. I wanted to try something new that I had not seen much out there on. I did a broom finish before watering. It looked great before I watered. After the 2nd misting, I could start to see the aggregate. It doesnt look horrible, but when I walk on it, it is very sandy and coarse. Do you have any suggestions on how I could fix this now? I considered adding a thin layer of hiqh quality mortar on top and then watering. Do you think that would hold up? Thank you again, love your videos.

      Is this true in a climate that freezes in the winter. I had my back patio poured and it hailed on it that day before drying and made it look terrible. After that they skim coated it and it looked good. After the first winter I have concrete chips everywhere and the patio looks terrible again. The concrete guy won’t call me back so I was wondering if this stuff would work but it needs to work in a climate that freezes. Thank you.

    I just did a walkway to my house at 4’x40’ and and dry pour doesn’t looks great on the top and there are some hairline cracks. Do you think a 1/2” of this on top would be durable enough? And how to prevent it from cracking

    • @WallstreetMuscle
      @WallstreetMuscle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Top it with my mortar method. It won’t crack. You’ll need to decide how deep the mortar needs to be to fix completely. I’d have to see it in person but it’ll definitely fix the problem.
