Yes he spoke the truth on how many war crimes took place. Instead of protecting civilians they were killing innocent people and blamed them of having weapons and booms when they did not they were shooting innocent people walking with there families and they just killed them like nothing because they were in Afghanistan do disgusting no wonder our world is upside down we I mean our politicans do not care!!

If US could do this horrible injustice to Australian citizen for doing his journalistic job, can you imagine what horror endured by and done to Afghanis, Iraqis, Vietnamese, Syrians and many more in the last 75 years by these same people?

Australia itself just jailed the most famous and most innocent whistle blower, so don't think people are stupid, we are not stupid, as far as Julian is concerned, it is still very controversial what boundary he has crossed.

Obama is the crook who is still running the white house. He's running an illegal 3rd Term. He's also running America into the Ground.

How Julian Assange was released - for an admission of guilt
"A pioneer of press freedom who harmed his cause"
Julian Assange will go down in history as a pioneer of journalism. And as an egomaniac who often caused uproar. His practice was characterized by a fundamentalism that often did more harm than good.

What happened about the rape charges against Assange from Sweden? It's no question that Assange had his 1st amendment's right in publishing sensitive material, but don't tell us that agents whose names were mentioned were to have been simply asked to go home from, say, Afghanistan after being caught collaborating with the enemy. Aside from that, were the rape charges from Sweden simply made up? Why did Assange deny them and not be willing to at least be questioned about it by Swedish prosecutors and instead ran to the Ecuadorian Embassy to hide out for 7 years until the charges were not able to be prosecuted? Something is wrong with this wholesome, homecoming picture, with Julian portrayed as a martyr for press freedom with so much controversy still hanging like heavy humidity in the hot air.

There is no doubt the British legal system is the best in the world, but nothing is perfect. I would add that there is no smoke without fire. If you break the law, you must be punished. What has happened to Assange should be a warning to others who might feel that 'freedom of speech' comes before the law.
