Have been repeatedly watching your video - I know who to blame for my extra art supplies shopping😊 Thank you very much for your inspiring comments. I am by no means an expert but I also find Arches a bit challenging. Interesting to compare with Hahnemueller. I did not get the name of the first watercolor sketchbook you've mentioned. Would be good to try out for experiments. Have you checked out deals on Temu?
Haha, I am always happy to help with art supplies shopping 😅 The first sketchbook or more like watercolor book is from Søstrene Grene 😊 I have not checked out anything from Temu yet, any good finds there?
Great video! My favourite art supplies from 2022: discovered Escoda prado brushes and travel brushes, Etchr sketchbooks and Art Toolkit palettes. I like the Fabriano 1264 paper more than Canson as well. I like using it for testing and playing around without worrying about the cost of paper.
Thank you so much for your comment! 🤩 Which Escoda travel brushes did you go with? I would love to try some but there are so many sets and I am not sure which to choose..
@@TatianasArtandCraft I really like the Prado “regular” brushes, so I went with the Prado travel brushes as well. I like a brush that’s a bit firmer, so they work well for me. A few months later, I did buy a couple of Tintoretto travel brushes to try because I found that the sun sometimes is quite bright and can reflect off the silver handled travel brushes and Tintoretto had some black handled brushes that are not as reflective. The Prado are probably my favourite based on the bristles.
First of all I Love your paintings 😍 I'm still a beginner with florals but I love winsor and newton brush for it. I need to try the iridescence oil pastels 😍 I want to add more sparkle to my paintings in more ways than just golden watercolors and these look so nice
❤team sennelier! I got that set for $14 a few years ago- best deal ever. If someone were to ask which set to start with I would choose that one or the 6 tube billy showell sennelier set with the split primaries.
Thank you. Love your videos. Please if you can be more specific for your last choice of paper, who is producer of it. I try google but it list me all but not that one: ARTIST WATERCOLOR PAPER. Thank you!
what is the brand of your favorite masking fluid? I didn’t catch the name when you said it and could not read it on the label. Thank you for your very helpful video and your English is very good so please do not feel it is a problem.
Thank you for watching this video! Share your favorite art supplies from 2022, I would love to check them out! 🤩
Your English is totally fine.
I wanted to like that 1264 paper but I thought it was aweful. Agree on the Hannemule

@@FaithAnnNB Thank you so much for your reply! I have not even considered the handle of the brush while choosing them. I will look into both sets 😊

I’ll add that the koval sketchbooks are amazing cotton sketchbook. They are on the pricey side but very well made. It’s the nicest I’ve tried.
I have never heard of them before! Now I am curious 🧐 Thank you for sharing! ❤️

Thanks for all of the lovely recommendations! 😊

Tusind tak 😊
The fabriano paper is not 30% cotton only 30% environment friendly fibers if I read the documentation right.
I checked the sketchbook, it is 25% cotton, I have no idea where I took 30 from 😅 😊
Mungyo makes the same oil pastels at a fraction of the price.
Really?! I have never seen Mungyo in my local art stores ☹️ I will see if I can find them online for a good price! Thank you for sharing! 😊😊😊
