I was in Switzerland at the end of February. It's one of the most beautiful places that I've ever been. We went to the Tissot First Cliff Walk in Grundelwald and then drove to Lauterbrunnen. I'm glad I went then because I don't know when we'll ever be allowed to travel again. Thanks for a beautiful video.

Bern, the capital of Switzerland a truly beautiful city with a well historically preserved old town. With its medieval city center, Bern was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, but besides its historically buildings the city also offers a lot, small alleyways to explore, great restaurants and cultural activities. Surprisingly most people don’t think of Bern as being the capital city of Switzerland. The old town is half surrounded by the river Aare offering a place to swim in warm days. An amazing city that should be visited if you are traveling to Europe or Switzerland.

This looks terrific. I visited Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Schilthorn in 1972 by bus, it was so beautiful but this would have been magnificent. In 1988 we hired a motor home and, setting off from Interlaken on the way to Italy, we took the train on a flat bed truck from Kandersteg to Issel (norther Italy), through the mountain passes. The views were breathtaking and never to be forgotten. We thought we would be driving our motor home onto the train and leaving it whilst we got into a railway carriage. No - we did the whole thing in the motor home. It was very scary as there were no sides to the truck. The only thing holding us onto the truck were our brakes!

I am indeed very fortunate enough to visit lauterbrunen, murren, birg and Schiltron along with my parents and sibblings in April 1979.we were in tourist visit to Switzerland from April 1979 to July 1979. The whole Switzerland is exotic, enchanting, mesmerising, amazing, marvellous and surprisingly very clean and calm and quiet. No noise pollution in entire Switzerland. We all family members will always remember our wonderful tourist visit to Switzerland for ever.Beauty and tranquillity of Switzerland will remain in my memory, heart and soul as an everlasting love affair for nature. My tears ,smiles and laughters are still in the mountains, valleys. rivers , brooks, and waterfalls of Switzerland.
One of my favourite destinations: I left a lot of footsteps in that area. Last trip to Grindelwald had to be cancelled dus CoVid-19 Next year, new chance!
No matter how expensive Switzerland was (and it has become very much more so!) I always tried to spend some time there during my holidays in Europe in younger days. Sadly time catches up with us all - but beautiful memories linger. For anyone contemplating a visit sometime, take it when you are young and fit enough to really appreciate the stupendous hiking possibilities.

I've been to the Swiss Alps and to the Rocky Mountains National Park near Estes Park. There is no comparison......Alps experience is way superior, more beautiful, and more dreamlike than the Rocky mountains.

So nice. I was there in June 2010 but maybe it was the rainy season but so many clouds, then sun , then rain, then sun. The top of the mountain was cloudy and snowy then it would clear and you see the sun and all the mountains in white snow. When you get to Murren, it is sunny but all the waterfalls were really big. I stayed in hostels in Murren and down in the bottom for 10days. So peaceful when the all the tourists leave.

Banff. AB, Canada has a similar one, but your old artful buildings and huge falls, makes it so unique.
