It's a shame you didn't make it up to the Capitol Complex - *that* would've been a ghost town! Unlike most major capital cities, Oklahoma's main building isn't located smack dab in the middle of the downtown area.

Thank you for the drive through downtown OKC. I was born in Britton. It became a franchise of OKC. I haven't been there for over twenty- years. Wow, what a change! I now live in Broken Arrow which is a suburb of Tulsa. Seeing all of the streets and older buildings brought back a lot of memories. I liked the train. So cool. I think the Thunder and former Mayor Nick Cornett brought positive change to OKC.

Thank you for uploading this! I worked in the Kerr-McGee building about 17 years ago. Before that I worked in the Journal Record building and was fortunate enough to miss the bombing by three hours. We had to move to the Oklahoma Tower for a few months after that. That building swayed a little in strong storms. A few people who survived the bombing were unnerved by fire trucks which surrounded the building soon after we moved to the Oklahoma Tower. Loved seeing sunsets from there. Sometimes all of us would stop working for a moment just to take in the view. So interesting to see how the City has changed. Haven’t been in that location since. I loved eating out downtown, especially at Leadership Square and walking through the concourse. I subscribed, by the way. Wow I see rails on Robinson!
