Oh wow!! Shana, I had absolutely no idea of the sheer amount of different graphite there was out there! Then you finish the video by saying that you don’t have as much of a collection as others? My mind most definitely is boggling right now… The images of the artwork produced by many of these, made my jaw drop. I have watched many of those videos at the time, but seeing so many in one place, well…🤯 You truly are the Queen of pencils, no matter the make, or specialty of many. Show you a pencil, and I just know the finished product is jaw dropping. Thank you so much for this extremely eye opening video. I have powdered graphic (totally unused), Graphitint in pan form, very enjoyable, and both Derwent and Faber Castell too. I have one chunky Art Graf hexagonal pencil too, but have no idea where it came from. 🤷♀️ Thanks again Shana. I’d love to watch a video with you using those 8 chunky solid graphite ‘pencils’. 👩🏻🎨🎨🖌️📝✏️
Thank you so much, Anita! I'm glad you like my pencil work so much, I appreciate you! It is crazy to think about how many different graphite options there are these days! Art Graf also makes a kneadable graphite putty. I have never tried it. It looks super messy. But it definitely looks intriguing! Lol Crazy the products that are out there now!
I will see what I can do for a video for the big chunky graphite! I originally bought them so I could do a video, but got busy with other things. Thank you for letting me know you are interested!
I love all your collections of graphite Shana❤! Very interesting to see in action the art craft watercolor graphite, the chunk of water soluble graphite, and the Blackwing audition set😊 I love your collections❤❤❤
Thank you, Claritza! I will see what I can do with those supplies in future videos!!
@@CautionArtistatPlay 😊🙏🏻🥰
What an incredible collection.... one day 😊😊
Thank you! It's been years and years in the making, lol.
Yes please, play with all the graphite you're curious about. Would love to see what you make 😻
I will have to do a graphite piece real soon!
@@CautionArtistatPlay 🙀Woo Hoo!
Derwent Graphitint...love them! So good to work with and I love the colors in the set. They compliment their Drawing pencil set so well. And, I have that set as well.
Yes!! I love the Drawing pencils too! Such beautiful muted colors! The Drawing Pencils and Graphitint are two of my favorite lines that Derwent puts out!
Love my Blackwing. I use their different grades in my life drawing class and for my general drawings. Their website and their boxes tell you what type of graphite each pencil has. Some stores sell these open stock but you have to look for these stores. Plus these pencils are fun! I give them as gifts to other artists. I use mine down to the nub.
They are a beautiful gift item! I want to do a piece with Audition set soon to get a better feel for each of them!
Hi ! I am obsessed with art supplies too ! I love to watch your collection and your drawings! Do you plan to show your paint collection (ink, watercolor, oil, acrylic, gouache etc..) I am very curious for something I did not know yet :) Thank you !
Thank you! Oh yes! I will definitely be showing my different paints and stuff, too! I'm slowly making my way around this studio with this series! Lol
My dad was a carpenter and used to sharpen his pencils wirh a chisel.
Totally interested in a video with the Blackwing set. I love the blacks, but never experimented the others.
Thanks for letting me know! I will see what I can do!
Would love to see water soluble graphite piece! Great video
Thank you, Rob! I do have a few water-soluble graphite videos in my Graphite and Charcoal playlist! But I will be doing more soon!!
I love the Faber-Castell Pitt Graphite Matt and Staedler Mars. Planning on treating myself to the Derwent Graphitint. I love and learn so much from your videos. Thank you for everything that you do!
Thank you so much! It makes my day to know that you like my videos so much! I 🥰
I am 98% of everything you have discussed in your video. Just a reminder of how much I have! Fun!
Lol! Sometimes, it's good to have that reminder! It's like when I go to organize the studio and find things that I forgot about, it helps spark the creativity and excitement for my supplies all over again! Thanks for watching!
I love working with water soluble graphite. At the moment, I've only used the Derwent pencils, but there is a tin of Faber-Castell just waiting for me to play. I want to try that Art Graf graphite in the round tin - looks like it could be fun.
As a graphite fan, I’ve really enjoyed your video. I have some of the same supplies as you have: some Faber Castell Graphite Aquarelle pencils (included in the 26 Pitt Graphite set), the Technalo set, the box of Pitt Graphite Matt and the Art Graf stick. I love all of them. I’d like to try the Graphitint, but I have a big set of water soluble color pencils, and despite being a different product, I shouldn’t buy any more! 😅
You have a wonderful collection, all great products! Yeah, I understand that feeling, I shouldn't buy any more art supplies for a while, either. But, I probably will haha!
Oh, so many different graphite products!😀
I used to find graphite rather boring until a few months ago when I tried the the FC Graphite Aquarelle for the first time and -- to my great surprise! -- they were so much fun that they broke me out of an art block! I also have the FC Graphite Matt, which are nice but not as exciting. 😄
The Graphitint are on my wishlist... but what is on top of my wishlist is MORE TIME to actually use all these supplies 😂😭
Yes! Water-soluble graphite is just do much fun! It's my favorite way to work with graphite! I understand that feeling. There are so many supplies in the world, and so little time to play with them all!
Love this! I have the small set of Derwent water soluble pencils that I love to use for preliminary sketches, and the Graphtint 24 set is now on my list. Love General pencils, they work so well at such a great price point, and I don't have to freak out if one of them gets "borrowed"! I have not really used graphite on its own much, but I'm intrigued by the Faber Castell Pitt Matte set!
Thank you, Lynne!! You will love the Graphitint, they are so much fun!!
I have the graphitint paint and love it for landscapes. The graphite powder makes me want to make a big mess fingerpainting😊
I love Graphitint for landscapes! Wonderful for creating mood! The graphite powder is so messy and fun!
Hmmm, i have several of those sets, as well as the mitsubishi Hi-Uni - that Japanese graphite is sooo smooth. I also got a bottle of Kuretake liquid graphite and I dont think Ive ever even cracked it open. Must try…i need to go watch some of your graphite videos. I also have all of the Viarco ArtGraf tailor chalk colors, but I haven’t figured out how to use them
Ooh..I have had my eye on the Kuretake liquid graphite! Let me know how you like it once you get the chance to try it! I have a 3 set of the colored ArtGraf, but I haven't tried them yet. I need to do that soon. I haven't heard of the Mitsubishi Hi-Uni, I will have to look into that! Thanks for watching!
I have the General’s pastel pencils, I love those
Their pastel pencils are a lot of fun!!
I'm such a color girl, I think the graphitent are the most interesting. But powdery supplies and me seem like a mess looking for a place to happen!! 😂🌪
Haha! I totally understand that, I find myself drawn to color more, too! Oh yes, the powder is a mess, packaged in a jar! Haha! It likes to go everywhere!
@@CautionArtistatPlay I'm not the neatest to start with! 🤣 I suspect I need a mask, lol! 😷 Thank you for sharing your thoughts and supplies! 🤗
@Kreative_Rainbow haha! Honestly, a mask is not a bad idea, certainly wouldn't want to breathe too much of it in while working!
@@CautionArtistatPlay 🤗😍🥰
What?! No Artgraf kneadable graphite? lol! It’s such a mess. Wonderful video! Thank you!
Haha, I have thought about getting some, but I don't think I could deal with that! Lol! Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Could you use a sharpie to write the number on the broken side of your Derwent graphite pencils? Thank you for sharing all your stuff!
Yeah, that would work! I'd just have to be careful to put it in a spot that won't get rubbed off over time while I'm holding it in my hand working. Thank you for watching!
