I went through puberty at a young age, it was awful. I felt like an outcast for about 5 years until other kids my age caught up to me. I'm glad she was put on temporary blockers, it'll save her a lot of stress. I hope she's doing alright now

I wish you were old enough to read what is actually put in plastics that hold food, liquids, and anything else. Although it's use has been discontinued, up until 2013 a chemical called bisphenol-A was used in all plastics from Tupperware to baby bottles, sippy cups, and even baby wipes. This chemical has been shown through several studies to cause chemical imbalances in the brain resulting in early puberty and even behavioral problems that are directly linked to chemical signals in the brain.
I was a late bloomer. My puberty started late and I got my first period when I was 14. But, it was probably because I was really skinny and underweight.

@@S_J_banana I am not a medical professional so don't take my word for it, but from what I have personally researched and/or experienced, I think it is becoming more and more normal as time goes on as we become introduced to more hormone-infused foods but I do not think it is very "natural" or "normal", although I guess it is now since it is becoming commonplace. I the average age of menarche and onset of puberty used to be higher than it is now, but of course there were always girls who matured quicker.

I started showing signs of puberty around the age of 6/7. It was not easy as, at that age, I was not able to fully comprehend what happend. I gained kind of medical understanding while still having a childlike mind. Being taller than my classmates, having breasts e.g. defined me a freak from the very first schoolday.
Just imagine having to tell your teacher once a month at the age of 8/9 that you can't attend the swimming lesson due to having your period. Or having to change in front of your classmates knowing they'll stare at your breasts/pubic hair. There are several reasons for early puberty, like those mentioned in the video. In my case, hormones responsible for growth were released in an above-average amount.
I went through puberty when I was in kindergarten. One day, blood just started coming out of my nose, that's how I knew I had my first period.

Pollutants, and insecticides, plastics breakdown into chemicals similar to estrogen. The university of Puerto Rico has identified a compelling connection between exposure to chemicals called phthalates, and a large increase in breast development among Puerto Rican girls younger than 7. More studies need to be done though.

Plastic degrades to tiny particles that are consumed by tiny organisms. Move up the food chain and the plastic toxicity increases. Being high on the food chain, we consume these fish full of plastic toxin.
So if what you say is true about the chemicals in plastic having the effect of oestrogen, well...

I was actually affected by this. It was from the hormones in my milk. When my mom was giving me a shower, she noticed I was developing breasts at 4. I looked 12 when I was 8, and I was a foot taller than most kids in my class. I took shots at a doctor once a month to stop my developement and I've been 5'6 ever since 5th grade, which is also when I started by menstrual cycle. I'm a freshman in highschool.

I went through puberty at a pretty young age (think I started my period in 4th grade?) and I think that's what stunted my growth since it's usually estimated girls stop growing within 2 years of having their first period. I was always the tallest kid in the class and forecasted to be around 5'8" or so but stopped growing at 11 at the whopping height of 5'2" or so. My face also kind of stopped aging. I look EXACTLY the same as I did when I was like 13.

I developed very slowly. I didn't get my first period until i was in high school when i was 14. I did develop breasts at 13 but i was made fun of for my slow development. I didn't even develop underarm hair until i was 18. My face also stopped aging

This mom did a fantastic job and trusted her instincts about her child. Don't be afraid to question what is going on with your child's development and if you don't like what you hear - switch doctors or get a second opinion ASAP! Sending prayers to this family and other like this. Just because a child is taller or more developed than their peers doesn't mean everything is okay.

I started puberty when I was 9, and I'm 12 now and got my period in July. I don't want to tell my friends because they haven't got it yet...any advice? P.S - It really sucks when you're on your period at school..I have cramps and my stomach aches which puts me off my learning..it's very important at my age because high school is preparing you for your career and future.
I'm 16 now and started my period the summer of when I was 12 as well. It's honestly nothing to be embarrassed about with your friends if that is the case. Mostly every girl will get it eventually and probably some will get it quite soon. Advice I can give to your for cramps is, when you get them, to stay hydrated and take Tylenol when needed . The way your period right now will fluctuate significantly for probably the next 6 months or longer until it becomes more regular. Also, the cramps may go away further into your number of cycles

I hit puberty at age 4. I was born a triplet and the smallest. I was diagnosed with precocious puberty at age 7. At age 9 they put a supprenalin implant in my arm to stop puberty. After a couple of years of having them replace the implant, this year 1 week ago at age 12 I finally had the implant removed.
I was diagnosed with precocious puberty at age four. I had an X-ray and it came up to be that I was about nine years old when I was only four. My parents were given the choice of either giving me the shots every 28 days or to let itself work out. Luckily, My ovaries weren't yet developed enough for me to start my period so my parents said, " If the shots are not necessary, we will just let everything run its course." I am 13 now and I have thyroid issues, but other than that, I am just a typical teenage girl.☺️
