You should give up already, Britain isn't a country, it is just a body of various cultures and beliefs. White British parents aren't having children, whereas immigrants are having lots of children. With the mighty work ethic of many immigrants and the rise of AI, Britain just won't be the same country in even just 5 - 10 years time. Economically, poor white families will be poorer, and the significantly rich will be significantly richer thanks to cheap labor. We will likely see Islamic leaders have more influence politically. This is going from basic population math. Educated White British just aren't having children. The 'Traditional White Britain' and the 'Well paid Britain' is already over. P.s: I know these themes are heavily race and culture related, but it does have massive relevance to any country and it's future.
Well in Northern Ireland normal wind is around 60 mph when we get a yellow warning and we pretty much got used to them as they happen few times during winter. That's irish normal. This wind was almost double the normal so would 60 degrees heat in Australia be still called normal?
Compared to actual, real natural disasters other places experience and deal with, eg Carolina, California, Indonesia etc etc, I'm embarrassed by all this UK ' storm' coverage. Mind you, it did blow over my favourite flowerpot.
This tempestuous storm threw my life into turmoil. I was walking along the street. With an open packet of KP salt+vinegar crisps. It blew half the pack away! All i could do was drop to my knees. Shouting curses and holding my arms skyward.
RIP to your crisps, this storm blew my bin over and I had to pick it back up and put stuff back in it. That was traumatic enough, I can't imagine what you're going through.
Absolute chaos round here. I wasn't quick enough to film it, but i stood and watched in shock as the wind literally blew an old fella's trilby hat right off his head !
The UK storms season is from September to August the following year. Only 3 out of the last 12 were in January. None as strong as this one in the past decade which is why it keeps getting mentioned

What's the propaganda? The headline is not misleading. We had a storm, and someone died, that makes it a killer. If a human took another person's life, that makes them a killer.
I am in England and it was a beautiful sunny day. My daughter travelled on the train from the south of England to North Wales and it was sunny and still all the way. Many British people are wondering why we are receiving red storm warnings and panicky news coverage telling us to 'stay at home'. It is Winter after all.
