That was a worthwhile shopping trip! My favorite pieces are the multilayer pearl necklace (minus the floppy strand), the other pearl necklace, and those very colorful earrings. I enjoy your haul videos, but I really love watching you repair and re-invent the jewelry.
I feel like it wasn’t a bad one after going through it all carefully. I did remove the floppy strand from the necklace and it looks much better without it. Thank you so much! I do plan to do some more repair/restoration, and repurposing videos. I am happy you enjoy them. 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️
I do think this haul was a good one. I, too, agree with removing the one strand with the seed beads; maybe it’s just because it was strung too tightly, but it cheapens the look of the necklace as a whole. Lastly, Pam what I’ve always loved most about your videos is your tutorials including those that inform us about jewelry pieces, etc. I love hearing and seeing your ideas about how to repurpose or change aspects of the pieces you show! Your hauls are fun, but I love other aspects of your channel as well. As always, thanks for sharing ❤️
Denise thank you so much for letting me know. I do so enjoy changing up the content every so often. I removed that strand and necklace looks so much better ! I hope you’re having a good weekend. We got snow here and it is freezing 🥶❤️❤️❄️❄️😊😊😊
I agree with taking that weird little strand off the one necklace. And adding that pendant to the goldtone link necklace is a great idea! You did pretty good I'd say 😊
I like the multistrand necklace minus the wonky strand 😂. It looks great paired with the other pearl one. You have a great eye for ideas for layering pieces!
Thank you Ellen. I did remove that odd looking strand and the necklace looks so much better without it. Thank you so much! Have a great weekend ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊
Hi Pam! I think it was a good haul :) The dolphin necklace does not look like any kind of plastic to me- there’s variations in the colors that indicate something like bone or maybe tagua nut. Looking at it under magnification will give you a better idea. I agree the wonky strand should go, it looks better without it 😀 I think those shell necklaces are in fact cultured Pearls. I really enjoy your videos Pam, I especially like your educational and repairing/ upcycling videos, so yes please do more of those 😊❤ Take care and stay warm!
The necklace and bracelet set are indeed pearls. I still have a few tests that I want to do on the dolphin necklace. Thank you so much Hannah I really appreciate you!😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
It was a good haul, Pam! The multiple red/yellow acrylic bead necklaces: are they long enough, doubled up, that you could twist all/several of them together into a chunky/statement necklace - fastened with a shortener, or a bracelet? The dolphin necklace - celluloid? casein/galalith? faturan? That necklace and matching stretch bracelet - they look like genuine pearls, to me: rough coin pearls. Do the teeth test!
Hmmm I might try twisting them 🧐. I haven’t tested the dolphin necklace for celluloid yet. I’m also thinking it could possibly be phenolic wood but I still need to test it. Ah yes they are pearls. I took a second look at them 😊❤️❤️❤️😊😊
Not a thing wrong with this haul. Those bright earrings are so fun. When you showed the multi layer necklace, I knew immediately which strand you were talking about. I don’t understand why they even put that on there. Our taste is so similar and when I saw the necklace with the leaves, I loved the chain but thought those leaves need to go. lol. The dolphins necklace is fun but I have no clue. 😊. Have a great week🌸
Teressa great minds think alike 😊. I have already removed that unnecessary strand and the necklace looks 100% better without it. I’m going to disassemble the other necklace, remove the leaves and then put it back together. The leaves might make some cute earrings. I’m still researching the dolphin necklace. I think it’s rather unique. Have a great weekend😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Mari! They had a hit or miss selection so I just chose what I thought looked interesting or that I liked. Thank you for watching and I hope your having a great weekend ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊
