I'm not a photographer, but this reminds me of a big trip I did just outside my city years ago at the crack of dawn in the middle of winter, taking photos of mundane objects and the rolling hillsides with the mountains in the distance. Really gave me an appreciation for the world at such a peaceful time of day.
So simple yet so true: looking at familiar buildings under unfamiliar lights will change the way you appreciate them and force you to expand your creative photography skills 📷
Here in Belarus I go to my day job when it's still dark and then come home when it's already dark, so not a lot of choices for day light photography for me ;)

Great shots, Luke. I'm sure your brother appreciates the wood grain background 👍
Wood grain is good grain

Lol, while I don't enjoy waking up so early, sometimes you can catch some great images.

How do you describe it ? Too much grain for 400 ? Low contrast ? Do you suggest shooting it at box speed ?
Speaking of coffee, you ever try caffenol as a developer?
I haven't! Always been curious about experimenting with alternative processes though, so I definitely wanna give it a whirl
