- I finally get to show off my new purchases from Bright's Antiques! Yay! These purchases are purely for fun and I may or may not wear them. I just had to have them. Anyone relate? The prices were so good I could hardly help myself. I hope you enjoy the sounds of these lovely tinkling and jingling pieces of jewelry. I am crazy about the sounds! LOL.

These sounds reminds me of the times where me and my nephew (funfact, we are only eight months apart) would play with my cousin's make up and jewelery (which we have permission to do so)
We would put a bunch of necklaces over our little heads, putting as much (oversized) bracelet and rings, puton lipstick and powder, and then walk around the house pretending to be queens or rich people while were at it. Our families would just laugh when we did that, especially family gatherings
Good memories. My kids did that too. 🥰

Your content is the best. In listening to one of your videos you had mentioned you were from the same small town that I'm from. Not too many of us out there from good old T.O.. My father bought our home there in 1960. I graduated from TOHS in 1978. Went to Park Oaks elementary then Waverly Intermediate and Los Cerritos. It was a great place ro grow up. I lived just off of Arboles. MANY great memories there. I now reside just outside of Pasadena. Thank you for your amazing ASMR. You're so creative. It's indeed a small world.
Yes! A small world! I remember Arboles. Wasn’t it Los Arboles? I lived on Hood Drive. My mom worked on Hillcrest Rd. (Where I had my first car accident at 16 years old). I graduated from TOHS in 1979. We probably passed each other somewhere. Your name wouldn’t happen to be Darrell would it? 😅 That would make the world even smaller! Anyway, we are so close in age. Just gotta know if you ever had a teacher named Grimes. Who else? Umm 🤔 I don’t remember any other teachers names. I worked at Kmart on Hampshire Rd. That still there? How do you like Pasadena?
@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction It was actually Avenida De Los Arboles. I lived on Calle Manzano. It was a small side street close to B&D market and Dairy Queen. I know Hillcrest very well. It has all changed so much over the years. The Melody theater and TG&Y are long gone as well as the old Fox Theater. The Oaks mall has grown. La Baranca swimming hole is still there. Giacapuzzi Dairy across from TOHS is also long gone. Remember Conejo Valley days? The community has grown and become one of the wealthiest communities. I drive through now and again when I visit Zuma beach. I love the old Mexican restaurant called El Tecalote in Camarillo. It's exactly the same. If you worked at Kmart on Hampshire then you must remember the Skateen roller rink across the street. Both the store and rink gone. My name isn't Darryl it's Actually Kirby. You were a junior when I graduated. I don't remember the teacher Grimes. If you have the 1978 yearbook my last name is Alary. I love the city I live in now. It actually reminds me of TO back in the day. It's the city of Monrovia which is just past Pasadena and Arcadia. It's at the foothills. I love it. If you have Facebook you can find a group titled "I Grew up in Thousand Oaks." There are so many memories and photos posted there. A great trip down memory lane. Anyway thank you for your ASMR master pieces. I have lots of questions about your videos. 😀
Thank you for the thoughtful reply Kirby. I only lived in Thousand Oaks from ‘77 to ‘80. I grew up in Monte Nido. That’s off Las Virgenes Hwy near Malibu. Very close to the MASH set. I was so upset that my dad relocated us from Calabasas to T.O. I only attended the Highschool for a year and a half. Then I left at 18. I moved back to T.O. in ‘88 to be with mom and dad. 3 kids in tow. Moorpark to be specific. Left in ‘91 and never looked back. But it’s etched on my mind forever. I went to Zuma beach a couple of times. Riptide made me hightail it back to my milder beaches of Malibu.
Isn’t it sad how so many things change so much? Would I even recognize Thousand Oaks now? Thank you for the trip down memory lane. 🥰

I love falling asleep to your no talking videos. They are so peaceful! What is your favorite type of video, Rebecca? I’m not sure that I ever asked before, but my memory is terrible.
Interesting question. I think rummage. Rummage through makeup or do dad‘s in a drawer. It’s hard to find a good one. Most people are too loud and use hard clunky surfaces. That’s actually why I started making my own. I never meant to start a channel. I was just trying to make videos like I wanted for myself. I never dreamed someone else would like what I was doing. 😂
