    Thank you very much for your wonderful foodie vlog and video 💌. We will follow almost every restaurants in your video this October 2023, with one exception of the Oden store, as several comments have said the restaurant does not welcome foreigners. 😓

    Really enjoying this channel and looking forward when you upload videos! It's really fortunate you get to travel for work and eat all these delicious food. Most of the friends I know who travel for work don't look forward to travelling anymore. It just does no good for our workout and sleep timetable. ^^;;;;;

    The oden shop must be very well known and upscale for you to pay a premium for each piece of items that are considered expensive even to the US standard (cost of living).

    Just came back from Hokkaido and visited a restaurant called Matsuo for Jingeskahn. The hotel made the reservation for us. My wife and I didn’t enjoy the lamb very much because the lamb were very small pieces and was grilled on a burner and not charcoal. All the places you visited, are you able to speak Japanese fluently and read Kanji also? Thisis the difficulty we have because a lot of these places in Hokkaido do not cater to Americans too much.

    • @ChaliLindsey-ns4kp
      @ChaliLindsey-ns4kp ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is the same challenge I have whenever I go to Hokkaido. I was warned about this because Hokkaido is not visited by many tourists like Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. Therefore there is no need for them to convert things to English to accommodate foreigners. You and I will just have to struggle along with google translator and a google photo translator which is a app that you can take pictures of Kanji and it will translate for you. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. We shouldn’t put the blame on the Hokkaido people. We need to stop being lazy and go and learn Japanese.
