It does looks great at this scale! Pivot is part of the move action. Second move is just 50% (so move 6 means first move 6, second move 3). The free pivot is pivot then move or move then pivot. I think chacrters can also pivot as a reaction to enemies activating (slowing the game down so we house ruled that one).

Brilliant Steve as always - sooo many casualties. The ability to cause a unit to activate by attacking them is a great rule that really does give some nuance to tactically how you attack. It does seem like an interesting rule system - thanks for explaining the rules in the beginning turns. Super stoked the next one is going to be a massive Naps game. Have a great week mate

Great as always. How to you find Oathmark to Hail Caesar? I'm trying to figure out what system I want to use to get into. Looking forward to the next one.
Hail caesar is a bit more complex, rules wise, but plays a much faster game. Oathmark is much easier to learn and retain but takes a bit longer to have a game. Oathmark is definitely built for fantasy gaming where Hail Caesar is all historical (unless you are in my basement). I like them both and right now I am planning on moving back and forth between each. They are also both Infinitely expandable, which I love! Have a great week Doug!
Start a TH-cam channel and share your battle reports. It really makes you feel like you aren't solo gaming. Play the entire game and talk to the audience. I'm not sure how it works but it does. You get 1,000 percent more motivation to play the next battle and paint the next group of miniatures. Buy filmora (without the extra monthly charge), it's the easiest and best software to use in my opinion. Best of luck to you!
