  • Located in Sendai city in Miyagi, Osaki Hachimangu Shrine was built in 1607 by Date Masamune himself, and yes, the same Date Masamune buried in Zuihoden Mausoleum!
The shrine of the Hachiman deity, or the Shinto god of war, Hachiman is also considered as both the guardian and protector of Sendai City.
The main building consists of an Hoden or main hall, as well as an Haidenor offering hall. Both are joined under a common roof covered in Date’s unique architectural style including black lacquer, gold leaf, and brilliant colors!

Even if you guys don't have tens of thousands of views, do not give up on doing these! I absolutely love your videos!

Thanks, Andrew... We are not giving up, but at one point it will start to be financially difficult to continue if we do not have more views of our subscribers! So do not hesitate to spread the workaround! The more people watch our videos the more we can afford to make them.

Thank you for yet another peaceful, contemplative, beautiful video. P.S. I loved the opening shot with the black cat.

    Idem description.
