Lot of people forget that Oklahoma was briefly #1 in going into this game after Miami had a game where they trailed Rutgers after 3 quarters. This was also the same day as Holy Buckeye. OU was the only real possibility to upset the Miami/Ohio State apple cart. This day basically shaped the season in a BIG way
Class of 06 GIG'EM. I was there what a game and proof Reggie should have been a 4 year starter. Dustin was a great great kid but with the weapons we had Reggie was better suited.

@@SeanGrady90 Not really bcuz Rix got Benched his soph year for McPherson and never really improved . Making the same mistakes as a Sr. he did as a Fr. If McPherson didn't get in trouble when he was starting and ultimately get expelled he would've took Rix job . Fun fact A. Boldin was gonna be the starting QB before tearing his ACL in practice that season " 01" which is the whole reason Rix started that year.

@@SeanGrady90 McNeal was 2002 he came in with Vince Young they were the talk of that Class.
He was from Lufkin, TX. Wanted to stay home. I am also not sure his other offers wanted him at QB. He was considered an "Athlete" coming out of HS.
