Thank you. This has got to be the biggest frustration in Excel! I was just about to give up even after trying the TRIM function which didn't delete all the spaces. I used the =RIGHT function to identify the extra spaces at the end of the cells and had to manually delete them!

It isn't working for me. I have a column of over 500 links to our companies' internal files and I can't get that 1 trailing space to go away. To be clear all these files are coming from 1 agent. The files from other agents I can trim just fine. They are all on the same spreadsheet when they come to me to work. So confused.
i tried this, the spaces at the end remain. what am i doing wrong?
She didn't actually tell us how to remove the space from the column. Confusing title.
If we want only remove space form the right "Steve Job "" then?
The Trim function will only remove unnecessary spaces. This means that the space between Steve and Job will remain, but the unnecessary space to the right will be removed.
How to trim spaces from the start of the text?
Trim function is not working in that case
