Nah red shouldve won. The ref was being to strict one the tactical retreat, sometimes the only way to kick is to move back to make room. I hate to say this. But this is bullshit. Red put up a fight that deserved a gold honestly.

It's point sparring I guess there's limited punching coz kicks fetch more points and punching in this scenario leaves you vulnerable to counters using kicks which is an advantage to the opponent. Maybe you'd find ITF style more entertaining or even Olympic style karate
