Me too! I need to make a note that I am experimenting with this stitch; double stranded 4 weight with a k10.5 hook, it came out out of line so far. I may have to really pay attention a time or two (maybe 3) to get this done right.
I made the granny square version from your tutorials!! My mom bought it from me to give her caregiver after her cancer care. She loved it and now I will add this to my project list! Beautiful!! Oh wow! Another gorgeous blanket!!!! I can't make any promises, but I'm gonna try to do this. (I've seen other c2c blanket vids and ended up rage quitting. I'm a granny ripple/stitch fan, but for some reason, I can't wrap my head around this technique. The way you show it though, you give me hope that I can do it! )

You were discussing yarns and I remembered seeing a regular Kaleidescope Granny afghan with small amounts of variegated yarn incorporated into it and it was absolutely gorgeous! One of the very few projects I've liked variegated worked into as it's not my favorite type of yarn.
Maybe I'll get lucky and get the yarns* this year and be able to use this tutorial to make it.
*Yarns- every time I get a new phone I search for the afghan I'm talking about and save the picture to my phone in hopes I'll be able to find and afford simultaneously the colors needed. White, lavender, green, variegated of the same-variegated looks like flowers & green like leaves & look like they're on the backdrop of a white lattice yarn fence.

Fun fact, in 1800s crochet this is called the crazy stitch 😅 (starting on this right now, loved the shawl pattern!)

Can I use velvet yarn
I recently had done a C2C from the center for the very first time. The problem with this pattern is it is difficult for me to figure out/see where the beginning and the end of a round is. When you're going along, it is just hard for me to actually see or understand exactly where we are in the process. And if you set it down for a second, and pick it up again it's like oh my gosh where am I? I do love the look of this finished project though! It is on my to-do list for the future.

@FiberSpider ai see them just have not been able to set long enough to enjoy any or make anything l. My fault completely. Things are slowly getting back to normal we have been updating our home and for a rest we took a hole month road trip made some amazing memories got lots of great pictures. Now taking a short break before we add bathroom and fix basement up really nice then ai be hogging up your videos. Love ya.
