Good video and good review. Between the EK Nucleus CR360 LUX (151€ with no leds or 181€ with leds) and the Deepcool LT720 (120€) which one would you pick for a i9 13900k?
My only complaint is when you plug in the cables at the end I wish you would've shown what cables were what but besides that amazing video helped me install mine. But I'm curious I have montech king 95 pro I was wondering if I could've plugged my fans into the hub that comes with the case. Instead of straight to the motherboard
So question where do you plug in the pwm wire off the aio if you don’t use the fans that came with the rad? Do you plug into the pump fan header or cpu fan header?
Great video - just wanted to ask if you know how easy that lip that hangs off the radiator is to take off? It won't fit inside the Hyte y60 with it on, and I know some people managed to remove it. Thanks
Thx for great video, in manual for the aio, it says STEP A: Plug the 4-pin PWM connector from the pump to the motherboard, if i have a dedicated aio pump header on board, do i put the cable there ? and then the radiator fans to the cpu fan header, i think this is right, just want confirmation, thx
I'm torn between this cooler, the arctic liquid freezer II 360 and the DeepCool liquid cooler LT720 360 4th Gen for my 7950X build using an MSI MPG X670E Carbon motherboard. Which is the ultimal performance cooler to cool down the 7950X?
@@AlexanderLTS I went with the Arctic Freezer II 360 A-RGB AIO Rev. 3 which includes the off-set bracket for AM5 CPU. I also used the newer KryoSheet graphene thermal pad to keep temps pretty low.
so i just looked at my mb manual and i have both a cpu_pump and a cpu_opt header which one would i plug my pump into? *edit I found my answer once i did some googling
I like that EKW do amazing AIO's but why they still dont sleeve the cables or still cant include them in the cable like Fractal Celsius S36+. Less cables cleaner look. Still nice Video.
@@jonny555333 lol thats crazy it has been that long. Id be asking for discount or something. Ive been looking at the elite version with 6 fans, but so many damn wires.
Thank God EK has the 4 point mounting system for all platforms. I really like my Lian Li Gallahad 360 but they use the plastic clips (2 point mount) on AM4/5. Sent them an Email asking about it but they say it's fine from their testing. I don't trust the mounting pressure distribution!
I've been using corsair aios for all my builds. The two point mount is easier to install when you are changing parts out for testing. Temps never been higher than 71 C
Have used a 240mm aio from corsair to cool a 5900x with no issues on the 2 point mounting. I also used a 360 corsair on my 5950x and 5800x3d. Always performs great
They're charging too much for same AIO as their previous line basically. Apart from the daisy chaining it's nothing special. Also that pump head is very ugly. I'll go with Deepcool LS720 then and save £70!
Really dont like the actual design of the cooler. The D-RGB one was far more appealing. But the cooling performance of the Nucleus is just insane it ends up being a function over form situation.
Arctic's tubing is quite inflexible and the waterblock is rather large so you need to be sure that your motherboard/case setup will be able to support. As long as it can, then Arctic is the way to go.. they're the best AIO's by a decent margin. EK and Lian Li are both very good but 2nd tier. (Not sure about these new EK AIOs but rather the previous gen) Another one I'd throw in the 2nd tier is Coolermaster, their AIO's are extremely quiet and work great. Very happy with the 280mm Coolermaster AIO that came preinstalled with my NR200P Max case, they're fantastic AIO's as well but Arctic >> The rest.
Just wanted to say a quick thank you for this video. This was my first aio install and it really helped to watch you go through it all clearly.
Glad it could help you :)
Awesome install guide fams. Thorough and easy to follow as always. AIO looks pretty neat too.

Thank you so much for this video. Completing my first build and this vid was needed.
Got mine arriving today i appreciate this video doing my first build by myself and i know your video is gonna help me in case i need it :)
How does it perform. Build spec?
I think this might be might first AIO when I build a new system soon, so I'm very happy this video exists.
You always have the best review / guides, so clear and just the right speed. thanks.
Waiting on a custom loop EKWB set with a gpu waterblock and am4. Going to be my first loop :)
Hell yeah!
Same here!
Recording of the pump noise at a fixed distance from the case at various RPM's might be more useful for purchase decision making

@@GearSeekers thanks!
Great channel! Glad youtube algorithm suggested it to me!
There is an all black version of this on their Chinese store but I haven't seen it elsewhere yet. For those who like non-rgb
Thank you so much! So well explained
All seems nice, I just think that the old CPU block visual design of the previous EK AIOs looks much nicer...
I didn’t see or hear but did you set the fans to exhaust or I take?is the x-frame the side air is pushed out of?

I have the EK 240 D-RGB AIO. I much prefer the pump top design to the design of these new coolers.
Did you end up doing the intel install guide for this aio?
great directions!
Is a backplate included in the case? Or do you need your original backplate from your motherboard?
10:35 Is the EK logo rotated to the right? It doesn't seem straight in the video.

Do all the kits come standard with and LTT screw driver or is that extra? ;)

Great... EK is using those unremoveable bolts on the cool plate now (6:47, at the 9 and 3 o'clock position).
Recommend best aio 240mm for 13600k ?
Ek or cooler master?
Is this the same pump as the elite aio last gen models? Or did they put in a generic one?
Do you have any pull with EK, if so ask them for a white 360 for AM5.
Banger of an Installation guide fams, very easy to follow. Keep up the hard work
Curious about the fans as I'm looking to replace the fans on my build. These are the Loop fans right? How are they?
great video guys very informative but i like their previous gen coolers especially the all black one
I have one of the last gen ones, it was great - even as a 240AIO.

So on my motherboard I don't have any "cpu opt" or pump specific headers, could I get away with just using a sys_fan header?
