Nice video, Thanks. The exhaust pipe should be sloping down its entire length, I think on yours the last few inches are sloping up hill especially if you are parked tilted to the left. This might allow moisture in the exhaust to pool in the exhaust pipe. If its cold it could freeze there. If this happens, I think that the devise will shut off. Just a suggestion to tweak your excellent installation.

I didn’t realize it cost that much money. 😬
I went ahead and paid about $600 for the Velit gasoline heater that feeds off of my Ford Transit’s gas tank using the additional service port provided. No dealing with propane gas tanks. Ford’s gas tank serves two purposes.

The thermostat has to been installed outside of the cabinet so it can read the temperature in the van, that’s my opining love you work and the skill on every single thing that you installed and build great job👍👏🏻

Yes, this is correct we just wanted all of the controls inside of the cabinet. We plan on leaving the cabinet open while we sleep. I really appreciate you supporting our channel tho ✌️

Hi. So glad that TH-cam algo showed your channel shorts in my feed ,subscribed immediately, I have Transit 250 extended high roof ,but I use it for work ,hauling expedited cargo all over US Canada , driving 12,000 miles a month ,I don't think that I will need or be able to afford all your conversion ideas, also need a space for cargo ,but I like the propane heater ,I have diesel, and it makes noice which is annoying, just a question ,are you going to protect the heater underneath the floor from road water ,dirt ,or juts leave it like that ? Thanks

Thank you so much for subscribing we really appreciate it.
We did not plan on adding any protection underneath because we don’t plan on taking this van off roading.
But now that you mention that we may end up having some sort of protection underneath, just to help with rock debris

@Beer Run Bus thank you for your response ,I would add something, so much blown off tire pieces on road , it bent the little metal piece that comes out for rear shock absorber ,the one that kinda comes out of underneath facing forward ,I think it also hold break line hose.

@Beer Run Bus Sorry ,forgot to mention ,that the insulation ideas are priceless , I just need to do more, I am separating cargo space from my bed with blanket and thick plastic paint protective cover ,but man,it gets cold fast in cold regions ,I realized that I should leave the van facing wind ,if I leave rear facing wind ,oh boy,it gets so cold immediately, also window and side window sunshades helps a lot :)

It says right on the website not to install on the outside of the vehicle?

Does the propex heater keep the van warm? I’m looking at buying one for my Mercedes sprinter LWB.
    Thanks
