I can't wait to see what you create with them! It offers so many possibilities for clothing 🙂

hi, kierstin, in the render settings tab, make sure auto headlamp is switched to "Never" and that weird white spot should vanish 😎

Thank you so much for that tip. I will remember to do that so that the white spot vanishes 🙂

Can you add a decal to a shirt sleeve? Can you export that shirt with the decal on it?

Hey GrayNow. Yes, you can add the decal to a shirt sleeve. Once the decal is attached to the shirt, you can place it wherever you want. You will just need to tweak the decal in the Parameters tab to have it show up properly on whatever part of the shirt you want it on. Do you mean can you export the shirt with the decal on it to another program? That I don't know. But if you would like to make the shirt available to be used on other characters in Daz Studio - the answer is yes. You will need to save the shirt with the decal on it as a "Wearable Preset." Then you can add it to other Daz characters. You will need to tweak the decal placement in the Parameters tab for each character you use the wearable preset on since their body shapes are different. 🙂

@@gettingdazzywithit The iRay Node is easy and fast, and it looks good, but I've not been able to export it as part of an FBX or OBJ.

@@Gray-Today ahhhh. Have you tried to do after making it a wearable preset. Then exporting the entire clothing item? I haven't tried that. Let me ask some of my friends who are much more knowledgeable about fbx and obj stuff. I only work with Daz.

@@gettingdazzywithit Good luck with this. I'll be watching.

@@Gray-Today I talked with my friends. Their suggestion was to make the decal into a LIE instead because that bakes the image into the clothing. So, there shouldn't be an issue when you export it out as an fbx or obj. Do you know how to make a LIE?
