Just some bits and bobs of my creative journey through 3D artwork, digital artwork, and traditional artwork. Most of my videos will be focusing on using Daz Studio software to create artwork, but it will also include Photoshop tips since I use that for my postwork. So, you will find a variety of teaching videos, time lapse videos, and some art process videos. Thank you for joining me on this adventure.
Photoshop Postwork
In this final installment of the Happy Clown creative process we will be hanging out in Photoshop. You will see step by step how I do post work for all of my 3D artwork. I will even show you my mess ups and how I fix them. I have to warn you there is a thumping sound that happens periodically in the video. I apologize for that, but I have not a clue what caused it. Thank you for joining me for this video series. Please remember this a 3D character not a real child.

Freepik and Topaz Gigapixel
In this 4th installment of the Happy Clown videos we will be working in Freepik's upscaler (Pikaso) to improve on some of the textures in the image. We will combine the Freepik images with masks in Photoshop. The last step is taking the combined image into Topaz Gigapixel to enlarge the image and take it from 72 dpi to 300 dpi to improve the quality of the image. Also remember this is a 3D char...
Freepik Prep
This is the 3rd installment in the making of the Happy Clown. In this video I will be showing you how I add my 3D character's head to body and background of the image. Photoshop is my friend in this video as we prepare the image to be taken into Pikaso Upscaler by Freepik. Just a friendly reminder this is a 3D character not a real child.
Makeup and Render
In the 2nd video in the Happy Clown series we will be creating the makeup that I am going to apply to my character in Daz Studios. Again this is not a real child this is a 3D character created in Daz Studio software.
Prompts and Prep

This is the first video in a series of videos explaining my workflow to create this happy clown image. A shout out to, David R, who requested a video showing how I used NightCafe, Daz Studio, Freepik Upscaler, and Photoshop to create the image. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed creating. *Please note that this not a real child. She is a 3D character created in Daz Studio.*
SpeedEdit: Postwork Workflow

Trying out a new postwork workflow. After creating my character in Daz, I take it into Freepik's Pikaso Upscaler, and then finish my workflow in Photoshop.
Original Character Workflow
I've gotten asked about my workflow from Daz Studio to my final character portrait. So, I decided to create a video. This shows my entire workflow process of creating an original character from the G8F base. The next step is Pikaso Upscaler for textures. And finally, Photoshop for the final touches. I'm including a list of the morphs I used, along with their links, for anyone who would like kno...
AOBB Morphs Install
A quick video (no intro, outro, or music with this one) on how to download, install, and find in Daz AOBB's head morphs for Genesis 9. Today we are installing LA 2019 head morphs (free for download and personal use only). AOBB's morphs are no longer available in the Daz Forums. You can currently get AOBB's G9 morphs here mega.nz/folder/KclwBBCa#sBumhqTmVuN5cqqJiSNuVA We hope to be adding more s...
5-6 Year Old G8F Preset
I often get asked about my process of creating kid characters in Daz Studio. I decided to show how I made a 5-6 year old preset that can be used as a base to make the 5-6 year olds, but also younger and older kids. This preset starts with the 5-6 year old preset from the Growing Up product (see link below). I then add morphs to change some proportions. I use a size chart created from the CDC av...
3D vs AI
A video showing the process of creating a character in 3D Program (Daz Studio) vs AI. 3D and AI are two very different beasts. Hopefully, this will clear up the idea that characters created in 3D programs are the same as AI characters. They are not :-)
The Remove Tool PS
Are you having an issue with Photoshop crashing when using the remove tool? If so, here is the fix for that. And then I show you a couple examples of how awesome the remove tool is! I've been using Photoshop for 10 years, so I remember how difficult it used to be to remove unwanted items. Well, not anymore. Using the remove tool is a breeze. I can't wait to use it as part of my workflow.
Cute Kids Hair - wearable preset
Creating wearable presets for cute kid hairstyles. A great way to save time from hunting and pecking through ginormous Daz Libraries. All I have to do is go to my hair preset folder and all the kid's hairstyles I've put together are just a double click away.
Iray Decal Video
Well, you know me, I've been fiddling with things in Daz Studio again. And when I do that, I normally end up making a video. Today's video is about using the Iray Decal Node to create cute clothing. Just to warn you, I get rambling towards the end as I tweak, then tweak again, and then tweak yet again something that wasn't working with the decal. Feel free to fast forward through that part! LOL...
Combining Skin Textures in Photoshop
This video explains my technique for combining Genesis Character skin textures in Photoshop. Daz Studio characters each come with unique skin textures, but sometimes you might want to make a character look a bit older or add more details to the skin. This video will show you how I do this using the character texture files in Photoshop to edit them.
