Pretty sure that unavoidable damage only counts against a No Hit if an attack looks like it was meant to be dodgeable, but just isn’t due to bad design or whatever else. This type of unavoidable damage is to be treated more like a cutscene than an actual attack. Examples from the original game where damage doesn’t count include Flowey’s repeated loading of File 3, Asriel’s final rainbow beam, and Sans’ final slams.
