Hi Reem, Many thanks. I've got my exam in October. I was looking to purchase the APHA complete review for the FPGEE book. I was wondering whether the books you recommended in the video are more linked to the NAPLEX rather than the FPGEE? or am I wrong. Many thanks for your time
Thank you so much Dr reem. You're always very helpful. But why the Epgee when you are already licensed as a candian pharmacist. Does that add to you in Canada or you are are moving to America ? I am asking because I always asked myself that question can anyone live like in Ontario (near America) and work actually in America and gain benefits of higher salary and stronger currency ?
I think so, but you probably must have been a Canadian citizen or at least PR holder. However, you are still required to get a TN-1 visa. This is a special type of temporary work visa for a list of professionals, you can read it up. I hope this info helps!
Hi Reem thank you for your help. I would like to know if we need to provide also transcript of our high-school (mine no loger exists) and if you know a class-course for FPGEE preparation (not pre-recorded/webnairs). Thank you
Thank you som much for the information I recently moved to usa and I will start studying. Can you plz tell me how long it will take to finish all the exam especially I have a little baby
Hi Reem. Congratulations 🎉Would please guide about US PR holders with PGY1 any exemptions for them like FPGE or credit hours for the licensing process . Regards
Dear Reem, I want to point out that FPGEE Review (Kaplan) latest edition belongs to 2017 and I also made a contact with their customer service and it appears they do not have a plan to update it annually. Do you agree to spend time on this edition for (probably) the next year exam? Thank you.
I would think it is acceptable to use the 2017 copy since it contains the basic pharmaceutical sciences and there has not been major changes in that department. However, I recommend studying the pharmacotherapeutics (clinical) portion from the latest RxPrep to ensure you have the most up-to-date reference.
For Indian student if somebody want becoming US registration pharmacist should it required 5 year of duration degree or if somebody hving 4 years of bachelor pharmacy from India will be it valid for Naplex and fpgee?

So why did you have to take the FPGEE? I understand that FPGEE is only for foreign graduates without PharmD degree. I also know that in order to apply for residency programs in the US, it is important to have a PharmD degree, that’s why I asked that specific question. 😊
@@rayanabdelmagid8827 everyone who graduated from a non-ACPE accredited pharmacy school must take the FPGEE including those graduated with a PharmD from outside of the states
@@PharmacywithReem ok I get it now, thank you for clearing that out. Though I wonder, is it a necessary requirement to have a PharmD in order to apply for the MATCH? I have a Bachelors of pharmacy degree and going through the licensure process, my end goal is residency.
@@rayanabdelmagid8827 the fpgee is an equivalency exam that all foreign trained must take - regardless of degree type either b.pharm or pharm.d. However, for you to pursue your residency, you'll be required to do additional studies in a pharmacy accredited school there in US for a period of 3 to 4 years since you don't have the pharm.d. Until then before you can start your residency program. Though I heard there are some schools offering joint admissions for a pharm. D program straight to residency which will reduce the total cost by 1 year I think. I hope you understand.
