4x4 Stuck at the Beach in Al Aqaa - High Tide Sea Water Coming In!

- When the owner of the 4x4 arrived back with help he was quite shocked to see the high tide lapping around his car, burying it further in the sand!
Local tractor dude does a reasonable job with some coaching from a local 'expert' who promptly got himself stuck after the original 4x4 and tractor had left!
It is actually quite incredible because that tractor driver was pulling in ever single direction except the correct one. That's some achievement I guess...
Last joke earned thumbs UP. Can't beat a classic.
I thank you for going straight for the tractor. :)
How is it that these people live in a sandy environment but have no idea how to prevent or escape a situation like this. Mind boggling!
The Nissan Patrol, both the Y60(like the one in the video),the Y61 and also the huge Y62 are just looks but incredibly hopeless in mud. I once got stuck in a deep bog whilst driving a Y61 until I was towed out of the bog by rural folks and I've got considerable off road experience.
I mean having a tractor around is great but there is this even more useful, practical and common tool called a shovel that can be utilized to dig things called holes in sand. Shucks I know it doesn't run on petrol or anything but it has its advantages, like being able to dig yourself a path out of a beach. Lots of people think its a good idea to have one of these ancient tools around when they do things like drive in sand or break down at nighttime in West Philadelphia.
Mr. Tractor Dude.... Could be the name of a new show....
Towing 90 degrees to driving direction - oh man :-)
guess Mr Tractor forgot about that thing on the back untill he was trying to pull you out going forward and seen it hanging off the back when he looked back at ya, lol
I'm amazed they thought of rear backhoe at all. Hydraulics 100 times better'n traction. Could've set up anywhere and pulled it out by swinging boom and rolling bucket.
Thats exactly what i thought myself from the beginning!
Wish i saw that, would of wet my pants laughing. What a comedy of errors.
Well thats a big backhoe.. Hey maybe instead of trying to rip pieces off the vehicle by pulling it sideways, maybe fucking go behind it really close, raise your bucket over it if it's cramped... maybe use the backhoe and tug it up/backwards, or maybe even dig around it, because ya know, backhoe.
Oh he finally figured it out at the end..
If you looked, there's a fence in behind it so the tractor wouldn't even get near getting in behind him, let alone the strop to pull him out with.
Consider this happened in the United Arab Emirates, where residents have no idea how to act around water. That's a desert except for the coastline.
Last time i looked wheels don't roll sideways. Should have taken the best angle from the back and pulled somewhat with the way the vehicle would want to go, there was tons of room behind it.
He needs to be lifted up, then out. I got stuck in lake muck and a Flatbed Tow truck used the Hydraulics of the bed to lift me up, then out. Sand or muck is a bad stuck. It sucks you in and puts major pressure on the vehicle.
Dude in backhoe had no clues. Any backhoe that size i have run could of lifted either end and set the suv over out of the holes it was in. Then pulled it straight out using the backhoe.
yes must buy one of those Super Safaris They are just great
juaaa juaaaa jajajaja!!! ....classic!! ...estos nispatos no aprenden! Good Hugieross!
Local expert drives a cute lil Nissan. I like it!
Yeah can't say the tractor driver is the smart one here. We just got three cars bogged with a little less effort
That was great. Good job! Thank you.
1. Buy a shovel.
2. Air down the tires.
3. Stay off the terrain if you can't handle it.
4. Set up some good recovery points, don't just pull on anything that seems sturdy.
Sound advice Alex.
They had a shovel. A fucking great one on the tractor. No, don't use that.
Let the tyres down. If you can find them. He dug it in so deep.
Number 3. Of course I can handle it you infidel. Allah is with me.
4. The mind boggles at what they where doing to that 4x4
Exactly.
What a bunch of wise ones!
@dodgyplonk There was room on the end with the fence. And if there wasn't, the rope was attached to a bucket... He could of raised it and done it from the other side, pulled it back, then pulled from the front.
Normal tire pressure is about 30 psi. when on sand, air the tires down to about 8 to 10 psi and no vehicle will get stuck in sand. Just don't go faster than 20 to 25 mph with tires that low or they might detach from the rims. Bring a tire pump with you, a simple bicycle pump will do fine and can inflate a tire back up in only about 15 minutes of hand pumping. Yes, that's a lot of work, but it's better than getting stuck.
Nice Nissan Patrol. My dad has got one its 4.2L petrol straight 6. Its very fast to be honest. We raced a porsche cayenne and he won. They are very tough mechines. They are one of the 4x4s money can buy well thats my opinion
(PLEASE REPLY)
if pulling straight back or forward is not an option, lift up each end at a time and shovel sand underneath the tires do this for the front and back. never tug from the sides, i've seen an axel get ripped clean off because they were pulling from the side.
That's the first thing I thought. His choice of two different buckets even.
you gave that beach a tractor
beaches love tractors
Just great music!
Been in a similar sit before. That local 'expert' was the sh$t. Lol!!
the guy driving the backhoe is probably the one who bogged the dato, probably stuffed up a good dato
well that's why you and all the people that liked this should've watch the whole video! there's a fence behind them!
Why is he pulling it from the side instead of straight back out of the water??
should have put strap on left rear wheel pull side ways ,,,,,,,,,,
The local expert HAHAHA!!!
Yeah. Pulling it at 90 degrees angle ain't gonna work.
Could have dug out the rear and gone backwards.... also, WTF with the 90 degree pull on the towbar?
Fuck I love those local experts, never short of useless advice
mr tractor dude risked his 50.000$ digger for you. gotta be a nice guy lol
You made a nice video
oh m,an that sand looks nasty.. usually that stuff toughens up when it gets wet.. at least down here in texas!
u guys are so smart
Mr tractor dude!
Exactly. Then they should have gotten a lot longer cable and pulled on it from hawiiaii.Would have gotten a straighter shot that way huh?
It's only a Nissan 'Poo-trol'. Drive the buck under the nissan, flip it on its side and skull drag it up the beach... They love that kind of treatment... 😉
It took him long enough to realize there was a backhoe attached to the rear of the tractor, lol.
Apparently everyone on youtube is an expert on how to pull at truck out of the sand with the tide coming in..
As you can see if you pause at 0:46 there is a wall to close to the car for the tractor to be able to pull it far enough back.
@fordlover329 They didnt really have the room to pull straight. I noticed that right way which makes the situation really suck.
Radical thought, you've got a front loader and backhoe, why not remove some sand from either in front or behind then use the rear arm + strap to move the car off the sand it's beached on so he can just drive out.
90 degrees pulling hahhaaa, than you better roll over the car hahahaaaa
Local this local that. Anything against locals/Emiratis? I've always found them the first (and only) to come to help had anything gone wrong to other motorists.
12 seconds in and wondering why tractor hasn’t dug out the sand behind the 4wd
The music is horrendous.
Why didnt he dig out behind him?
I have a german history book. I dont know why but for some reason all the history between 1937 and 1944 is missing? Was the entire country away at camp?
Let's go offroading with Street Tires!
What could possibly go wrong?
my condolences. that was such a tragedy.....
i agree best to pull sideways easier on tie rods and balljoints haha
Great choice of soundtrack!
Why is it hard to understand. Pick it up out of the sand and then pull it straight with the wheels???
Hello, McFLy?
Mr Tractor Dude... lol.. that's cool... anyways so the high tide brought in all that sand, no way he dug himself into the sand like that, especially the front wheels, makes me think the high tide brought all this sand in but just asking to confirm.
Also, guys, let air out of your tires BEFORE you get stuck. get them about 10psi...enough to where they float over the sand and not dig in.
They should have looped the load strap around the rear of the chassis frame, aired down the tires to about 15 PSI, then had the tractor pull slightly up and backwards while the tard in the 4x4 (Toyota?) slowly gave it gas in reverse. That would have only taken a few minutes.
Put the bucket close to the car. Get as close as it can. Tie Tow Rope on, then lift the back and reverse
Done
Why does he try to pull it out sideways? its burried too deep you need to pull it out at the rear?
@RoadCaptainEntertain you could get stuck? I don't think anything short of caterpillar tracks would help here
I must be clever than I think, I was cringing at every attempt to pull that out knowing it was wrong way. Why didnt they dig it out, not like they didnt have a DIGGER!!!
There are no "experts" in such kind of sand..
COOL..NICE CAR
who would be crazy enough to sacrifice an expensive car and tractor to salt water must be very rich
Would tires with adequate tread have avoided this?
Man that sand is soft as shit. It's like quicksand or something. It's not that bad around here, I don't think. Interesting. Thanks for posting
Did anybody think of picking up a shovel?
u cant dig in the sandy water, it just fills back in with more sandy water
Tractor around shovels on the ground
super special Nissan Safari the greatest car يا نيسان ما يهزك ريح
Good little video..l
never try and pull it out sideways. if the towball didnt snapp then axel of stering woulda gone. always pull straight out using the wheels
All you people posting comments about how he should "pull it out from the rear and not side ways" Do you not see the fence behind the car??? and the water at the front???
The tractor driver should have knocked the fence down and then towed it out from the rear.
Insuance adjuster....So ,how did the frame get twisted on the road?
Going on an ocean voyage.
@dipsherry an by straight out you mean straight into the sea right!?! haha
Serves these guys right, Someone shought have called the cops in.
Call the cops on a stuck vehicle? Seems a little extreme don't you think?
not illegal to drive on beach in most parts of the world. that's mostly for us in the u.s.a because people are overly worried bout damaging the beaches or some bullshit like that
why it was a simple " my car will e fine here" who cares
ummm why, because it's stuck?
does your computer not have a "mute" button?
0:47 there is fence, hence why the tractor couldn't pull from behind the stuck Nissan patrol
No good deed goes unpunished.
something so easy!!!!!! presure of the tyres to half. then go into the beach. even on single traction.
gotta love the ending
I would have used the digger and dug under the rear wheels and lift it up with sand and all under the rear wheels from behind
Hahaha Walla habibi I'm telling you I'm zee best and I teach you how to be zee best but never best than me because Im number um best.
Comedy video!
This is why you should get a LandCruiser.
A nice big shovel to assist works real good.
People use a darn shovel and dig out the sand in front of the wheels first, it's wet heavy sand. Common, use your heads
Once you lift the front end of a 4 WD off the ground, you have a 2 wheel drive.
people who drive on the beach for the first time need bigger and wider tires made for when they drive on the sand.
Let this be a lesson in how much extra work is generated when you decide to be lazy. If he'd used the backhoe from the start, and done the extra work to hook to the frame instead of that goofy little tow hook (which is anything but, I've seen those made out of plastic before), it would have come right out.
why didn't they just dig around the rig to help free it first?
Ehm....why pull it sideways? If you had pulled straight it would be done in 5min
Turn the music off, why does everybody have to do that today?
Well maybe use the airbags to float it later?
Oh that ending 😅😅😅😅
A fantastic example of what not to do. Ever. LOL
Should have dug around the vehicle first to relieve the pressure from the wet sand. ..
