I finally found it: it's the final movement of the Weinberg Moisey Piano Quintet in F minor! The Kopelman String Quartet has a video of it on TH-cam with Mikhail Kopelman's daughter, Elizaveta playing piano (it is under opusoctopus's account). It's amazing!

I would agree! After listening to complex music then Borodin's I was struck by the simplicity of it. His music is complex it's simplicity and ability to convey profound meaning. Absolutely wonderful and amazing.
