David Joachimsthal What am I looking for? I see an overhead picture of the map, but difficult to view forests from that pic. I don't see any pictures of sawmills or forests in the other pics. I read the description, but I don't see anything that discusses forestry, unless I'm missing something.
I gave up on this map 'cos I couldn't find where to store my grain & other crops ... I know now, it's inside that shed. sigh! I won't be going back to this map now I know. While this map is rather beautifully done, it's as frustrating as hell to do anything productive. just MHO.
better then the fs15 maps that were included in the game. the maps are so bad that most tractors dont even fit on the fields, i lost 400 grand instantly when a bot drove it into a river because the devs dont know what distances are. i might actually look into suing them because the game is NOT complete... no farmer wants trees near a field. for a sim game it is one of the worst and its 2016 and these guys are STILL ! on unity...
Bunny Warren did that, most medium to large harvesters get stuck on the cliffs and or more trees not to mention the case ih i lost because the river is simply too close to the field. there are also buildings that stop the bots from working, if you save and quit and come back to the game while doing crops (planting and plowing) the tractors will go back over the same parts they have already done, tree cutting is still as pathetic as fs15 and we all know how much of a bitch that is unless you are growing them and harvesting with a scorpion and buffalo, physics are still way off (most likely thanks to the unity engine) i shouldn't need to worry about getting rid of trees at the start of a game not to mention we still cant get rid of the stupid little bushes with any type of equipment. feel free to simplify it some more bunny but the game is not finished and or worth $100. i dare you bunny to take anything larger than a small tractors and equipment down to field 20 and try to do anything at all, bots or not it will not let you. and not to mention field 5 one of the biggest fields and yet nothing over small is able to work on it. and yes i have tested it many times all directions and i have found the only way is to make the field at least half the size by planting grass and that is a fucking waste. but hey maybe i should cut the trees down lol. (did that and welp what do you know it didnt help one bit) and while im ranting i might mention the useless trains... not a single person said that was a bad idea lol nobody at all in the dev team said hey thats kinda useless. goes to show the integrity of their decision making.
