Next to the native Collett 2-6-2Ts and the NGG13, visiting honorary No.4 Palmerston looks almost a miniature loco. I'd be interested to hear what footplate crew who have to negotiate those cab openings whilst bowling along at line speed think!! The 'Old Gent' looks and sounds perfectly comfortable working at it's "home from home".
